Which makes it all the more idiotic, kinda says Goku wasnt really pissed since he was still holding back.Kanassa wrote:Rage can, but in this instance, it didn't.SansrivaaL wrote: Desperation can actually have you think clearly... why would he need to go SSJBKK against Zamasu if all he needed to do was fuse with Vegeta? while rage can just make you go "YOU MFCKER, I DONT CARE IF MY BODY GETS DESTROYED, I. Also, this makes the last chapter even more stupid if Goku knew this perfected shit before they fused as neither wanted to fuse in that chapter and wanted to take on Zamasu 1v1.
I think he learned it throughout the fights he had in this arc.
Wasnt that the point tho? their idiotic decision of fighting Zamasu 1v1 instead of fusing because saiyan blood?

Well I'll wait for a translation before giving my thoughts on the chapter as a whole, but-
I kind of like the idea of Trunks having Healing abilities. Though it's odd why he never brought it up before. Seemed like a useful thing to have.
The portal punching is pretty fucking cool.
Not sure how I feel about the whole "Perfected" SSJ Blue thing. Like, when? Why? I'd be willing to buy that Zamasu is worn down thus why Goku can keep up, but I don't remember, was Zamasu being weakened because of the half mortal/immortal fusion or is he completely fine in the manga and he just has the time limit? because if he is fine then, yeah, Goku fighting on par with Zamasu is super odd.

3) Why would he have used it before? He can only use it ONCE, its clearly stated in the chapter. Why would he waste it in a non desesperate situation?

He can only heal once. You guys really should either look for decent translations (it has been said on this thread, but whatever...) or wait until the chapter is fully translated before calling a nonsense. The gr wrote:Wait wut, Why he didn't heal Goku and Vegeta in chapter 20, this thing is becoming a mess,I just can't wait for a genkidama sword or shiruken, because I think the ending teased thiszamasu121 wrote: from herms:''Turns out, manga-Trunks can use Kibito-style healing powers because he trained as Kaioshin's disciple''.

He said "probably", meaning Toriyama gave himself a loophole if he ever decided Goku was going to used those forms. Nothing stated or shown implied that Goku would never used them again in absolute. In fact, the only form Toriyama said that Goku wouldn't used again was Super Saiyan God, which he hasn't in the anime.Lord Beerus wrote: That doesn't ignore the fact that Toriyama wasn't planning for Goku to use SSJ2 or SSJ3.

Nothing quoted contradicts his statement on Super Saiyan. He said Goku would probably never used Super Saiyan 2 and 3 again. Not that Goku would never used them again.Totamo wrote: I don't think the man was planning for any of this which is not new, Toriyama always writes on the fly. the man would wait 2 days before his due date to make something.
toriyama contradicting himself that's also nothing new, the man has admitted to that.
The cell and buu saga were littered with stupid nonsense but I don't remember any of that being this bad, and don't say because of editors because they made it that it that bad at least the cell saga.

I pray that Goku didn't have the ability to master Super Saiyan Blue before fighting in the Future Trunks arc. Because if he did, he's a piece of shit. Because he knew could have ended this arc the second he and Vegeta went to fight Goku Black and Zamasu for the first time, but chose not to. And it makes everything that happened in Chapter 23 all the more infuriatingly stupid and selfish.

BTW, I wonder if Toriyama's outline has something as nonsensical as Goku Blue being on par with Merged Zamasu. Considering he also wrote something as nonsensical as Goku Black's base being around SS2/3 tier in base yet having a Rosé form yet being defeated later by Vegeta, I would not be surprised. But in that case , if I'm right about this whole mess being the reason to why Goku never faced Black in the manga version...Its pretty sad that Toriyama's little care about his outline damages both the manga and the anime.

don't This sounds familiar to something, you know the buu saga when Goku could have ended but but he choose not to do it, this better not be the case hereLord Beerus wrote:I pray that Goku didn't have the ability to master Super Saiyan Blue before fighting in the Future Trunks arc. SSJB Goku holding his own against Merged Zamasu was definitely in Toriyama's plot outline because it happens in both the anime and manga. And like I said before, there is no fucking way in hell you can make sense of that kind of plot-point without killing the power scaling and/or retroactively making the previous events of the arc meaningless, contrived and stupid.MisteryOne wrote:BTW, I wonder if Toriyama's outline has something as nonsensical as Goku Blue being on par with Merged Zamasu. Its not really Goku's fault. Even if he defeated Black in the first trip (Vegeta didn't want to fight alonside him against Black trough) they would still have problems with Zamasu's inmortality and abilities. And in the second trip, the Mafuba prevented him from going all out. However, looking at chapter 22, Vegeta is the piece of shit.Lord Beerus wrote:I pray that Goku didn't have the ability to master Super Saiyan Blue before fighting in the Future Trunks arc. He knew Goku could handle Black, so he could have been the one to master the Mafuba and fight Zamasu. But his pride made him to not «want to rely on such a tecnique». He trained in the ROSAT again for the sole purpose of being him the one to defeat Black. As always, his pride makes things worse for everybody. As I said, Boo arc 2.0. This could have ended earlier if it wasn't because of the Prince's pride

I would say it makes sense in the anime, he never really overwhelms Zamasu, he just gets two damn good shots in. Peircing Zamasu's ball of death to give Zamasu a surprise kahmehameha ot the face, then delivering a Kaio-kick to the same face after Zamasu had already taken a Father-SOn Galick Gun... TO the face. Then he goes on to get a sword to the face, and considering his universal form is a sky painted with his face... Zamasu gets hit in the face a lot.Lord Beerus wrote: SSJB Goku holding his own against Goku was definitely in the outline because it happens in both the anime and manga.
