You know Freeza's Abridged line "And that sounds like it's not my problem" would really fit into that statement right there, but yeah I get what you mean. I would have been absolutely pissed if I didn't get my Mewtwo codes for Smash 4 from Nintendo.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:That's still a situational thing. Just like the people getting emails that they won't get the code despite pre-ordering, it doesn't do you any good to buy it off Steam if your computer can't run the thing.

For anyone struggling to get a skill that requires an ultimate finish, try getting a z rank. I played mission 19 about 40 times and today when I tried for the first time today I tried to get a z rank (normally pretty easy if you grab 3 times, hit with 20 ki blast, rack up a 20 hit combo and then just hit with lots of supers and ultimates and transform finish) and it dropped straight away.
This could just be the rng playing tricks with me, but I think that's some pretty solid data.

Thanks a lot for informing us,I just got him for free thanks to this.Lozjudai wrote:PSA!!!! You can now buy the pre-order dlc from the bandai namco vip corner! https://www.bandainamcoent.eu/vipcorner
For anyone who doesn't know how :
1- opening an account will get you 200 points.
2- picking an avatar will get you another 100.
3- giving additional info about yourself will get you another 100.
4- registering the game by entering the code you get with it will get you the remaining 1000.
When you buy him make sure you're E-mail is correct cause that's where they'll send you the code and keep in mind this is for the EU version of the game.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

Hopefully, this is the last time a DBZ game has to go through with this pre-order BS.

Oh, no offense taken. It's just the truth is all.MCDaveG wrote:I don't side with your opinion tough. After like 4 DB games that were bad. Who would preorder? Not to mention that the price for the preorder was crazy in my currency.
You know, I've got so much stuff for preordering Assasins Creed Unity, I will get so much awesome stuff for preordering Batman Arkham Knight. Compared to this, DB Xenoverse is rather mediocre.
No offense.
Though playing the Network Test would have given you a good idea of how much care went into crafting Xenoverse ahead of time to put the preorder in. But also, just to play devil's advocate, I suppose after playing Unity at launch then you'd also reconsider preordering Assassin's Creed games in the future based on that one's quality, eh?
I am of the opinion that pre-order only stuff is pretty junky from a consumer perspective. You can't absolutely guarantee the quality of the product you're putting money down on and basically being kind of blackmailed into blindly trusting a developer. Shady as hell. And don't get me started on retailer-exclusive in-game pre-order incentives.
I had hands-on time with Xenoverse, knew it was gonna be good, pre-ordered on Steam and got the DLC included in the game without worrying about available vouchers, and was able to just sit back and enjoy without worry. They were getting my money regardless.

Well, as a current PS4 player, I haven't got the chance to try it. Don't know if it was on X360, which is my previous gen and my PC unfortunately doesn't keep up with games to two years old.
I didn't got the chance to try it and the videos I saw weren't that much different from the stuff I saw before. It was only after the release and more of the fan's reviews on the finished product, that I've decided to buy this game.
And I will never regret this decision.
PS: Yeah, Unity had some nasty stuff before patching, so had Arkham Origins, but the content, story, characters and overal work, not just the gamplay alone, are miles above any Japanese game based on franchise.
I am certain that I can preorder Akrham Knight and I will reach a nirvana

Well, seeing how the reversed having SSJ Vegetto as pre-order bonus in BOZ and SSJ4 Vegeta as a pre-order bonus in XV, I think it's safe to say they may end up scrapping the whole deal once XV2 drops.sintzu wrote:Seeing as this and the last game had it,I think every game moving foreword will have it as well.Lord Beerus wrote:Hopefully, this is the last time a DBZ game has to go through with this pre-order BS.

They aren't going back on SS4 Vegeta though (yet). They have a FAQ on their Facebook page that specifically states he is still technically a pre order incentive. They aren't generating new codes or putting him up for sale later. The codes being given away are ones from Day 1 editions that weren't claimed, and once they run out that is it.Lord Beerus wrote:Well, seeing how the reversed having SSJ Vegetto as pre-order bonus in BOZ and SSJ4 Vegeta as a pre-order bonus in XV, I think it's safe to say they may end up scrapping the whole deal once XV2 drops.

Damn. I'd be very pissed off if I was one of the people that pre-ordered the Day 1 edtion and through mitigating circumstances, didn't download the pre-order bonus, but then when you found the time to use the code, you suddenly couldn't because the code had already been used by someone else because Bandai Namco gave it away.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:They aren't going back on SS4 Vegeta though (yet). What a bitch that would be. And it sums up everything wrong with the pre-order bonus practice. Everybody gets cheated in one way.
......
FYI, I downloaded one of the codes.

I got 1 too thankfully.Lord Beerus wrote:FYI, I downloaded one of the codes.
With the amount of copies the game sold I'm surprised the codes weren't gone within an hour.
Seeing as they're still up I think a good amount of people don't know about them.

Well, if BN had announced they were doing this on twitter or their facebook page, I think all the codes would have taken in a hour or two. But you have to remember, this also only applies to those who bought the EU version of the game. So everybody else that is not a part of the EU and bought the Day 1 edition of the game and didn't secure a code, effectively got screwed.sintzu wrote:I got 1 too thankfully.Lord Beerus wrote:FYI, I downloaded one of the codes.

Is there any problem with buying a season pass? since I read online that some people had problems with it. Also is it worth it?

Well this game had me hook line and sinker from the get-go so it was worth it for me, but for others who were maybe wanting more from the DLC packs, maybe it wasn't.SansrivaaL wrote:Is there any problem with buying a season pass? since I read online that some people had problems with it. (And I didn't encounter any problems, but I dunno what platform people had problems on. Mine's on PC and I haven't had any errors like that yet.)

Well, they were giving away voucher codes that they had on hand, not codes that were sent out to people. How would they? They are in the cases of those game boxes.Lord Beerus wrote:Damn.
