TheSaiyanGod wrote:The concept of mastering the transformation of Super Saiyan Blue is interesting yes.
This causes the transformation to have more screen time, as an end goal to fully dominate it.
Not to mention that it gives the impression that it has a great potential to be explored. Is something the anime has not done yet and this has left me disappointed.
I just think that the idea of Goku rivaling Merged Zamasu is not good. There's no way he has so much power hidden, but choose to use just now.
By the last page, it seems like he's just Gaining time, but the talk of vegeta is intriguing. Your rival should at least dominate the form as well, it would be better for both of them fighting together and creating strategies. It would be better if Zamasu was already worn out from the fight against Vegetto.
But, many people are attacking the manga without even reading, better wait for the translation to know if there is an explanation
That is because in the anime Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan is basically Mastered Super Saiyan. That is why Goku talked about how it was a calm form with great ki control.
It makes sense, since Goku mentioned that he seems to have a more refined Ki control when using the SSB form.
But when the transformation needs to be mastered, it is an extra effort to do so, giving the impression I said.
The fact that it can be perfected to be used at full potential is something that would take a lot of effort, I liked it (although in the case of Goku apparently this does not happen)

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.
This chapter seems like it'll be neat. I'm a bit skeptical of Trunks having the powers of a Kaioshin apprentice, it seems kind of lame, but it also seems to have a cap, so I'm not too bothered. I've liked everything else I've seen, too.

I really love this concept. Instead of Gokū just suddenly being able to use Blue flawlessly, there's a process to it. He has to genuinely focus and put forth effort in using Blue "properly", something that will probably be second nature to him by the time of the Tournament of Power, I'm sure. Vegeta too, I'd imagine.

Okay so... Goku is clearly on his base in this panel. How the heck he is able to survive attacks from an enemy that is supposed to be thousand times stronger than him?

I'd be happier about Merged Zamasu doing Janemba's move if the manga wasn't dragging this saga for such a long time. Right move in the wrong time. I love that Janemba's move and I always thought it should've made its way to the anime/manga as soon as Movie 12 debuted, mainly in anime because... Well, it's in motion which is the best way to see that kind of technique.
So while I'm glad to see the technique itself finally appearing somewhere else, I wish I could be happier about it.

I like that we're actually seeing how SSJ blue works. I just feel like this is something we should have seen much earlier, like U6 Toruny earlier, at least. I'd say Ressurection F but that was skipped in the manga. Wasn't it always implied that SSJ Blue was the process of keeping the KI inside the body and that's why no one can sense it? Just odd that it's only coming up now to make Goku look stronger. Still pretty cool though.
Also, been sometime sense we've seen Torn Gi goku. I'm so used to the unbreakable orange Gi of Super.

I also liked this concept of mastering the SSB, without letting the Ki leak.

That's actually well written and pretty clever foreshadowing. He healed them by a little bit since he was unconsciously doing it, enough for them to survive until senzus

What do you mean randomly? Goku had Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan for years by the time of the Future Trunks Saga. He had it eight months after Freeza came back and another three years in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Honestly, it's weird that took Goku this long and he still hasn't mastered it.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

Oh man. If that's the case then that is really cool. I'm liking the idea of healer trunks more and more. He may not be throwing the strongest punches, but he is keeping everyone alive by god. Except for the rest of the population of earth, but, hey, he is only one guy.

It wasn't until Vegeta used his swapping between Red and Blue strategy that any method of overcoming Blue's drawback was demonstrated at all; it would have been very out-of-left-field and sudden if Gokū, so soon after Vegeta demonstrated his strategy, could suddenly use Blue flawlessly with no issues whatsoever.

So while chapter 23 was one of the worst chapters of the whole Dragon Ball universe imo, chapter 24 is actually being one of my favorites, and I'm only seeing leaks so far! Trunks healing Mai and Gowasu WITHOUT KNOWING is really mindblowing
Also, Zamasu playing Portal (or doing the Janemba, you decide it) was really dope. Sadly, seeing how Xenoverse focuses only on the anime version, we'll hardly see Zamasu doing his manga moves on games
So it's explained how Trunks had the hability to cure but he didn't know it. He unconsciously used it twice. Id like to know why he can use it once, could be that he needs to master it? In any case, it's good he can use it once, otherwise it would be too easy for them.
Mastering the SSB and how it's pictured by keeping the lava kind of ki inside looks cool. The amount of concentration that Goku requires looks so big, he hasn't fully master it yet.
I think Vegeta uses a lower version of the self destruction technique he used against Boo. Just to give time Trunks to heal Goku.
Zamasu using Janenba's technique does look cool.
The more I see, the more I like.
