I'm watching the movie in Enlgish now finally. I think the reason SSJ Vegeta seemed more poweful than SS3 Goku is this: When Goku fought Bills as SS3, Goku underestimated Bills, and asked Bills to promise not to destroy Kaio-sama's planet if he hurt him. By the time Goku became serious in the fight, Bills had a good estimation of his power, and reacted accordingly. When Vegeta fought Bills, Vegeta knew what he was up against, and went all out right away, putting all of his power and emotion into his attack, and I think this threw Bills off a bit, he wasn't expecting Vegeta to be much of a foe at all after his encounter with Goku, and that's why Vegeta was able to land a few hits on Bills.

Umm Roshi wasn't there when GOku fought Birsu as a SSJ3. Roshi is talking about SSJ3 Goku from the Boo Arc

SSJ2 Vegeta surpassing SSJ3 Goku makes as much sense as Bardock being a Super Saiyan (HE COULDN'T EVEN BEAT DODORIA FFS).

Bardock got beaten by Dodoria & was caught in the explosion of Planet Vegeta. He healed form all this in EoB, so he most likely got a huge near-death power-up like Goku did after getting beaten up by Vegeta when his body was possessed by Ginyu.

There's no way he could have gotten a power up high enough to push him to SSJ. No. Way.

In a few years we'll find out Raditz, Nappa, Telluce, King Vegeta, and Tarble are all Super Saiyans. Because VIDYA GAMES.

And knowing the average troglodyte DBZ fan, "Vegeta is officially more powerful than Goku now!" will ring out from every corner of the fandom and I will die a little more inside from having heard it.

My point still stands. Vegeta being stronger than Goku was confirmed by ROshi. Goku said that Vegeta > Goku as well. SO I'm sure Goku would know his full power.

I wasn't even following this thread closely, so I'm not sure what point you're referring to. I'm just saying Vegeta appeared stronger than Goku because he landed more attacks, but I don't think he really is stronger, and I explained why.

I haven't finished watching the movie in English, but I think if Goku told Vegeta he was stronger, he's probably being nice to him. I can't imagine SSJ exceeding SSJ3, it seems to make more sense to me that Goku simply underestimated Bills, while Vegeta didn't. But maybe I'm wrong, either way I'm still enjoying the movie.

One of the things I dislike about the movie is how it adds inconsistencies/plotholes to the series and makes it unnecessarily more complicated. It's never explained if the Super Saiyan God powerup is permanent (and if it is, that's just really lame and makes you wonder why Goku would even care about fighting Uub), Vegeta's rage boost doesn't make sense (since when can a Super Saiyan/Super Saiyan 2 become more powerful than a Super Saiyan 3 ... due to just rage?) and where is Bulla? I also highly consider the Super Saiyan God to be completely unnecessary (it's yet another Saiyan legend ... but we already had the Super Saiyan for that. And going up to Super Saiyan 3 was enough).

3. We've actually talked about how Bra doesn't fit in: Pan might actually be older than her. It's a distinct possibility, given how vague the timeline given for their births is in the manga.

Not "might be", but is. Pan has officially been a year older than Bra since at least February 1996, when Daizenshuu 7 came out. Granted, it's the same book that introduced the discrepancy that's beguiled fans to this day, but officially, Pan is born in age 779, while Bra is born in Age 780.

I think they're uninhabited. Also SSJ God having the power to absorb ki would be an interesting ability to go further into.
