No, he says, he's going to use just a little bit.

He does? I honestly can't remember. I thought first he said use a little bit, and then he says all out/not holding back/something along those lines. I don't have a reference for pre-Z stuff yet.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

Herms' Strength Checker is good for reference:
The quote in question:
Chapter: 171, P12.5, P13.1-2
Piccolo: “Frankly, I’m surprised…Not by your Bukujutsu, but by your technique and movement…And your toughness…To apologize for calling you a small fry, I’ll show you just a little bit…”
Kuririn: “What? What will you show me?!”
Piccolo: “The true power of the great Ma Junior…”

The only thing that suggests otherwise is the guidebook numbers.
Which numbers in the guidebooks suggests otherwise?
Tenshinhan- 1,830
Krillin- 1,770

I don't know what they were thinking tbh. Tenshinhan almost decimated a Saibaimen in one elbow in a similar fashion to the way Piccolo did in a punch. IMO Tenshinhan and Piccolo were more comparable with each other than Tenshinhan and Krillin.

Kuririn pulled off a big attack which smoked 3 Saibaimen at once. How is that any less impressive?

But that's just an amplification of his own power. By no means is that the same as being able to basically one shot them in a punch or an elbow.

@FNF
I don't agree with your personal problems with those levels. Nor do I understand, why you'd claim that the same gap between Krillin and Tenshinhan is suggested up until a certain point in the story, when no such thing is.
And Piccolo was just warming up anyways. He even says that much. Nothing says Tenshinhan has to be closer in power to Piccolo than to Krillin.

So what does Krillin mean by 'That's Tenshinhan for you'? Tenshinhan who has been significantly stronger than Krillin since the 22nd Budokai and might have even stretched the lead at the 32rd Budokai? There are no signs that Krillin closed the gap before the potential unlock.

But who says Krillin has closed the gap between them? Krillin is saying that as if he still doesn't compare to him/nothing's changed.

Official battle powers. And they're explainable.

They were thinking the same thing when they decided that Kuririn and the others would have surpassed Raditz at this point.

What hleV said.

23rd Budokai and by your logic one might as well say that Tenshinhan widening the lead is not suggested either.
There are no signs that Krillin closed the gap before the potential unlock.
And there's nothing saying the gap between their powers absolutely had to remain the exact same throughout the years. You're dismissing those battle powers due to a baseless assumption, which is just not a good enough argument.

Before:
  • Tenshinhan: 250
    Kuririn: 206
    Difference: 44
After:
  • Tenshinhan: 1830
    Kuririn: 1770
    Difference: 60
So the difference between them actually grew. If you want the difference to be proportional, then it's your own problem. Solved.

Krillin is clearly saying it as if nothing as changed.

Congrats on correcting a typo and Krillin flat-out states at the 23rd Budokai “Maybe he’s a little too strong…” as if he surpassed his expectations of him.
There are no signs that Krillin closed the gap before the potential unlock.

Once again Krillin says 'that's Tenshinhan for you' as if, at least, nothing has changed. It would be like Barcelona coming 2nd instead of 1st in La Liga and saying 'that's Barcelona for you'.
Baseless my ass.

Let's cool it, okay? There's some thin ice being tread in these topics lately.

To be completely frank, there's nothing to indicate that Kuririn couldn't or didn't close the gap between him and Tenshinhan by the battle with Nappa and Vegeta. Same with the common adamant denial that Kuririn ever surpassed him to become the strongest human as he was stated to be. I can't imagine what would inspire such insistince other than mere fan-wanking.

News flash: Tenshinhan is not that special.

Once again, Krillin statement is purely saying that Tenshinhan's stance hadn't changed in the slightest.

On a side note, I think it's possible that Krillin surpassed Tenshinhan from the Trunks arc to the Android arc but the whole atmosphere in the Android arc seems to contradict Yamcha's statement and then even Yamcha's statement alone is pretty shady [as is Dabura saying that Piccolo was trash and I know you understand that Kaboom ]. I wouldn't say it has anything to Tenshinhan fanboy-ism at all and I would expect you of all people to understand this.
Hell, it's not like I hate Krillin or anything as I rate him highly in the Android arc even the Buu arc since I believe he trained until Marron was born and even surpassed Freeza.

Also the mountain training card is getting old considering every informed dragonball fan should know that AT made anyone strong whenever he wanted to regardless of their situation.

Toriyama made or YOU made them that strong?

I don't think Toriyama really care about how strong Tenshinhan and the others are after the Freeza saga.
