My boy Piccolo is finally back to battle and we also get Buu?

It's a shame about Gohan but it is in character at least. I'm also secretly hoping Kuririn tags along with Bulma and Jaco. That would be awesome.
More awesomeness from Furukawa and Sabat as well! I'm very happy that he's going to fight.

I hope Kuririn goes with Jaco also. It seemed like the two had chemistry in Resurrection 'F'.
Now to wonder how exactly he is going to get more powerful in just 5 days. Maybe that Namekian book of legends would really come into play.
Maybe it will. I can't see the point of having Shenlong mention that book for the sake of it. That's a pretty random addition. Whis will probably train him as well.

I don't think Boo will pass the written test since he matches the description of a "dumb monster". My guess is that it will either be Gotenks or Gohan who fights.

I like the idea of Buu being disqualified from the tournament thanks to the written exam. It would keep the story constantly shifting and allow for two wild card slots on the roster, although I suppose it's always possible Kuririn will replace Buu. All Toriyama needs to do is hand-wave a new quick training method, too, like a new Room of Spirit and Time, and everyone can power up even more.

Why are 6 of them in U6 while one is at U7 and Bulma is searching for it?

Are they shared between the 2 univeres or are there 2 sets of Super Dragon Balls?
The ones Champa collected are supposed to be the Universe 6 ones. Beers was complaining that he wouldn't get anything if his team won the tournament and Champa said he'd give him his Super Dragon Balls, to which Beers replied that it wouldn't be worth it because he didn't find the last one. That's when Goku talks about Bulma's radar. Afterwards, when Bulma has the radar ready, she says that their Universe probably has a set as well and Vegeta suggests getting them instead.
Araki wrote:I wonder what was being discussed for Goku to bring her up that way? and also that bit about Piccolo "realizing" something afterwards.
After Vegeta told Jaco not to do any weird stuff to Bulma, he made a face (not sure if the face he made meant "hell no" or "oh, should I?" but meh) and Bulma hit him and told him to hurry up. Then, Goku commented that they both got that type of wife and Vegeta agreed saying he didn't hate it, to which Goku said he also liked/loved Chichi as well. Vegeta then said that line about the Saiyajin blood but it's a strange sentence... I think it either means that all female Saiyajin are strong-willed or that the Saiyajin blood makes them like women who are like that. Piccolo then finally realizes that's why they put up with them.
LightBing wrote:So what's Zuno (ズノー) a pun for? I love all this new stuff about the Universe. I love how there's a B plot which has the potential to be better than the A plot. A trip with Jaco will be an opportunity for him to brag about his knowledge of Universe, while annoying the hell out of the underwear sisters.
I'd say it's a pun on "zunou", which means brain, inteligence, etc.

Vegeta responding to it with a double negative 'I don't hate it'. instead of just straightforward saying he loves her is so very Vegeta. XD

I'm just so happy right now that GoChi lives.
On hiatus.

Alright Piccolo got in sweet. Boo is an asshole so I am not happy about him making it so fatass can be a dipshit some more. Bulma and Jaco are going somewhere and I really hope Krillin joins them. I just want to see Krillin and Jaco together more. Cop and Space cop. Yes I still want that to happen. Hopefully that guy they meet is relevant more than just being a single note single meeting. I'd like this very wise figure or whatever to stick around. Oh and if they only have 5 days, Boo and Piccolo are probably fucked. Though that's previous logic. New logic dictates they surpass Freeza or something like that. But I still predict they both lose their fights whether satisfying or not.

As for Gohan, as long as he's not brought in to go "Bleh I suck daddy help and do everything for me again." I really don't care. Have him just be the next Tenshinhan who is just off studying somewhere instead of training, and I'm satisfied enough. Don't bother using the useless, just stick with who you want to write for and actually do something with. I can't ask for anything simpler. Though I now want the final gag of the series to be "Guys from all my studies I discovered a way to end all universal hunger.", but the series is over at this point so no one cares.

The Super Dragon Balls I expected to be planet sized so no shock there. However them being the original Dragon Balls is pretty intriguing. The big question I now wonder is, who made the Super Dragon Balls. Oh and if Jaco and Bulma have to go across the universe to find the Dragon Balls you know what that means. "STEP INTO THE GRAND TOUR, GRAND TOUR GRAND TOUR, STEP INTO THE GRAND TOUR, DRAGON BALL GT!"

My main hype is to the new character. I had a feeling we'd get something like that. Also HAH NO FREEZA YES FUCK THAT! Oh an fuck yes during my previous claims I called Beerus could have known some other people in the universe stronger than Goku. I knew it. I did say he could know a lot, but only 1 is mentioned. So no I wasn't entirely right. But I knew it was possible he knew someone else stronger than Goku.

Thank you. I'm expecting him/it/her to be a buff character with, an idiotic face, a runny nose and of course be a total pervert.

Bulma really has Vegeta smitten, he doesn't let anything go now. I bet Yamcha lives with the fear of crossing his path, on a bad mood day.

I wonder after the Manga finishes it's exposition dumping if we'll get to see the actual tournament or they're going to save for the show? By the time Chapter 4 comes out we should have started the Uni 6 arc or come close to it. Chapter 3 we'll probably get more Champa info and his fighters then the 4th chapter we'll probably get a set up for the tournament etc. All these could probably be done in a few episodes. I suppose they could keep the Manga running like they did with BoG and just keep teasing. Be interesting to see what happens.

Champa will then switch the test's and cheat, and Gohan fails the test too . Thus he fails at the thing the only thing you'd think he'd succeed at. That or he legitimately fails at the questions cause they ain't simple math questions, but another type of question that ask's about the importance of life. Because Champa or Beerus dictate these answers the minute Gohan puts down family and studies, he's fails because he didn't put down food and fighting.

I wouldn't mind Krillin getting involved, but it looks like Jaco's current ship only fits 2, which is why Bulma goes off without others.

What do people think about these theories

1) Buu's inclusion will somehow relate to Uub at the end of Z

2) Some important tasks will be assigned to the half-breeds instead of fighting (not simple sidelines)

3) Shisami fighting Piccolo will somehow relate to Piccolo fighting in the tournament

They will never leave the gap as Oob is very prominent at the end of Z. That takes away from the holy quartet so Boo is included because he's strong and not Gohan.

The next generations are slackers and losers. Unless Gohan's studies are going to bring about some amazing discovery, they do nothing.

This one I could maybe see. Piccolo is tired of being weak and gets tough again. He's spent so much time being useless he wants to be top tier once more.

1) Not really sure about that since Oob will already be out there by this point in time, but it could be related to Boo mellowing out a bit more perhaps.
2) Also not really sure about them being assigned something, but I am betting that they along with the others left behind on earth might end up getting involved before everything is said and done.
3) Again, not really sure if it'd be directly related, but I do think we can now kind of take that as a show of him getting more heavily involved once again. He might not have finished that fight, but he did get the one more stand out fight in the film regardless (though now it seems like we'll be getting more out of Tagoma via Super, so who knows where things will stand after that).

- I think this is a possibility, but I'd wager that it's more due to the fact that Buu is a mystical creature of great strength and endurance. It's worth noting that, in Super, he took more damage from Beerus than anyone other than Godku.

- I'd wager probably not. Juggling a large ensemble cast has never been either Toriyama or Toei's forte.

- It's not a given thing that Shisami will fight Piccolo in Super. It has been intimated that Tagoma will take his role in the fight (as was played out in the initial storyboard of the film.)

It's nice to know that Piccolo and Majin Boo are going be are part of the central plot of a Dragon Ball arc again. It's been too long. Gohan fans are going throw a bitch-fit about his exclusion. :P

It's awesome that 3 out of 5 (for now) of U7's warriors used to be villains.
Maybe the latest fighter will also be evil, who knows. I would prefer if he was a (good) dead who kept his body in the afterlife and kept training so he would be stronger than Goku but weaker than Beerus.

Heres my thoughts on what I think will happen, this guys who gave Beerus his greatest fight, will fight a mysterious fighter from universe 6 who even Champa and Vados don't truly know, and possibly be killed revealing that next guy to be the major villian will be from universe 6, and he then uses the Super Dragonballs for something terrible. But that's just my guess. What's your guess as to how this will go down?

Change the end of the Freeza re-telling arc, begrudgingly bring Freeza along for the fight as a team member... (?!?).
