I like his blue Gi. What I don't like is his GT Gi.

I like his GT gi except for the ugly pink wrist bands.

Sorry I didn't mean like that. I'm known for using words differently. I didn't mean gay as in homosexual. I meant(Well IN Maryland...) gay as in stupid. Pretty much using it for something I don't like. I'm sorry. I forgot not everyone knows my wording like most of my friends do.

I don't get it.

You HAVE words for "stupid". For "idiotic". For "dumb". For "lame". For "ugly".

USE THEM.

Sorry, but while I'm all for the evolution of language, I'd really rather not have the common term for my sexuality associated as a synonym for "unruly".

Anyway... Yeah, I really don't like his GT uniform at all. His End-of-Z uniform is... decent, but it doesn't feel like Goku to me, if that makes any sense.

I usually pick EOZ Goku's attire in the games though as I like it more than the orange gi.

To that I'll simply leave this and move on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWS0GVOQPs0

Back on topic, I still can't believe I never noticed that Goku's end-of-Z gi and his GT one are slightly different. I've more or less always treated them as one and the same in my mind.

I do use them. I just forgot I was on Kanzenshuu and such. When I get mad I usually don't care about anything and just use what I'm most comfortable speaking in. I hate the bright colors of the Orange Gi. So I expressed my anger by saying the wrong word. I honestly forgot I was on Kanzenshuu for a second. I can't help it at times. I just found the bright colors ugly and stupid. I'm sorry. Let's just end this now. Sorry my mistake.

I like the orange and I do think Goku wearing it is rather symbolic for the franchise as a whole, but I do really like the blue dogi as well and how it appears to represent his transition from student to master. Seeing how this was the first film in 17 years, I can understand sticking with his original outfit, but I'm completely behind the blue dogi getting more representation and being used next time around; especially if Goku is training Pan by the time it is set.

I think it's the idea that since the End-of-Z Gi is less used, it's more exotic to people. That's how I feel about it anyway. I think it would be cool to see the Gi, but maybe not until later in this hypothetical film's story.

Was a pretty cool movie, and I've been thinking, what if Fox get their cartoon voice actors roles in the dub if they don't let Funimation in on it? I don't know how these things work, copyrights, patents, hurgleburgle, I dunno, would you wanna hear Nancy Cartwright as Trunks, Mila Kunis as Bulma, Dan Castelanetta as Beers or Seth MacFarlane as Shu?

Or Jon Benjamin as everyone?

...As much as I don't want a new cast for the movie, I find it hard to disapprove of anything involving Mila Kunis.

Just watched.

I am so pleased right now. It's been a long time since we got anything this good for Dragonball and it didn't disappoint. It had a perfect mix of just about everything I enjoy in Dragonball. One of the most surprising things about the film for me was the conclusion. We're so used to seeing the same story over and over with DBZ - by that I mean, villain temporarily appears stronger, but then Goku powers up and beats villain - end of movie, end of story. There was so much more to the end of this one. For starters, Goku didn't win. It's rare and that's why I really liked it. Secondly, they hinted that there may be more out there that could challenge Goku like Bills did. Basically, hinting at a continuation of the story in future. At this stage it looked as if Goku and friends were all so powerful that they couldn't really be challenged - but the whole idea of a multiverse opens up so many new possibilities for the future.

Loved the animation for the most part - sure when you pause it random moments it can look pretty sloppy, but in motion it was some of the best animation we've had for Dragonball Z. The only thing that was a bit iffy in motion were some of the backgrounds. I wasn't too crazy about some of them.

Great to have more DBZ. Lets hope it doesn't stop there. Give us a sequel, give us a dub by Funimation, give us more BOG merchandise...

Loved the film.

I'm glad that everybody seems to be enjoying the film (for the most part).

Now that the movie discussion is calming down, can anyone who got the limited edition blu-ray provide more details about the on-disc supplements? Like, which trailers are included (and excluded)? What are the runtimes for the behind-the-scenes featurettes? Has the creditless ending from the original JSAT special DVD been ported over?

Much thanks in advance. The Amazon Japan price for the limited edition is a little under $70 right now, so I might just cave and order the thing next paycheck.

I just examined the ending a bit and the closing credits is just... flipping pages of the manga left-to-right.

That was pretty neat. I like the very end where Nozawa says Kamehameha with Goku's famous kamehameha manga moments playing.

Goku haven't won since Freeza. It's not rare. He literally tells Cell "I GIVE UP". Vegeta beat the shit out of Goku.

Maybe people mean it's rare in movies. As Goku did save the day in all of them except movie 9, 10 (arguable), and 11.

He beat Buu, granted he had help but he still delivered a killing blow.

Genki Dama doesn't count in my book.
