It's *sigh* as canon as canon can get. They said nothing about that scroll powering them up either. He legit wrecked Tien and nearly killed him. We've seen some crazy stuff, but that's a crazy jump for Roshi who didn't train with minor gods like Kami or Kaio. Biggest instance of the show breaking its own lore IMO

Going by this episode, Krillin is still the strongest earthling. Krillin was able to keep up with Base Goku and force him into SSJ. Base Goku handled Roshi with ease, the same Roshi who easily beat down Tien

Goku and Tien outright confirmed that it was Roshi's own strength, and nothing in the episode said he was powered up by the tailsman. Stop making excuses.

Based on the Ep 90, it looks like this supposed strong base form received a huge Nerf. It's either all these characters caught up to Goku, or Goku's Base/ Normal SS forms are weak... stronger than he was in Z, but weaker than Base Goku(RoF)??

If those Frieza leaks are true, I hope Goku fights him to see whether or not Goku's base is nerfed... or all these characters received massive gains.

I don't agree with the 2 base theory, but maybe a possible retcon happened. So confused atm.

I also did not like how Tien was treated in this episode. It's like he was trash.

I watched the full preview for next episode and Gohan says "I've finally attained the Ultimate form". That proves he hasn't use it at all since the BoG arc, finally putting a end to base Gohan > Piccolo in RoF. That is also consistent with Goku only being god level in SbG and SSB forms.

Goku also said in the episode that Roshi must've trained a lot in secret.

It hasn't been confirmed at all. And again, everyone in Resurrection 'F' said that Gohan was stronger even before they knew he had a Super Saiyan form? Why are you ignoring character's statements?

And how does this confirmed that Goku is only at 'god level' with Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan? The only thing this shows is that you guys underestimated Goku's base form since you kept insisting it wasn't much stronger since the Buu Saga and Goku had a second powerful base form, despite Goku fighting a stronger than ever skinny Buu without transforming and Goku can fight a stronger than ever Gohan without transforming until Gohan uses his full power.

They think Buu was suppressing himself, which makes no sense since Goku was testing him and Buu would want to pushed Goku since Goku is stronger than him.

That's exactly why Piccolo is stronger.

Why would he even attack Tagoma while being weighted and be shocked at his failure if he saw Gohan almost getting killed by him? He also heard Gohan saying Tagoma was as strong as his best but even still attacked alone and with a handicap? It makes no sense if he's weaker than base Gohan.

Gohan never trained from Boo arc - RoF. He shouldn't be stronger than his Z Sword self without his Ultimate transformation. That's just common sense and nope, Ultimate is a transformation. It got confirmed on this week's preview.

I watched 3 different subs now and nowhere did Freeza say Gohan is the strongest. The only one that said so was Tagoma.
