Wow looking at these results. Next week has to be the best opportunity Super has of beating One Piece.

+0.6 isn't anything special - so does not matter. Position is more important.

Considering this week's episode is gonna have another new transformation, I'm expecting Super to break the 7.0 barrier.

Not only things will get more serious, but we also may have one of the best looking episodes in DBS so far.
All the right ingredients are gathered for a successful week.

One Piece is back to canon with the Zou arc, which makes this ranking more impressive.
Super barely could get close when Dressrosa was ongoing, a 2 years longer dragged arc, and now that One Piece finally started a new canon arc, it almost got beaten by it's own lead-in.

It's not the first time Super gets this close. I believe we can beat One Piece at least once, it depends how longer Super will keep airing.
Dressrosa is considered a popular arc, and did good in both the manga and anime. So it's length is only really a complaint from the hardcore fanbase. Also, the start of a new arc in One Piece is always slow and some people actually wait to binge watch.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

7 to 7.5 range for 56 sounds about right to me.

I agree. It would be a decent jump but not anything too crazy.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

With the ratings of the last episode and the NEP that drop makes no damn sense.

Hopefully the fact that 56 was a great episode plus its NEP will cause a bump for this next episode.

One Piece hit the 7 mark again. Never expected Super to be this low but it's still not bad. Post Olympics the ratings of all the shows have been pretty damn low compared to what they usually did. I wonder what happened?

I knew it would be about that rating simply because Black having a power up is not exactly something unexpected.

Damn, OP was there for the taking! Maybe the kids stayed up too late watching "F" and didn't wake up in time for Super?

The only thing consistent with these ratings seems to be the position it falls into.

I thought the last episode would have got much better ratings than that.

WHAT??????
This is a joke right?
Nowhere someone will pull the real list and we will start laughing........no seriously guys.......

I lost all faith in kids in Japan.....
Unless something crazy happened (someone blew up the rating machine) I can't comprehend these numbers......

Excluding all the kiddie series (we get it but jokes are funny and kids love them) why is DB under a slow op episode? Why anot episode that goku plays with Zeno has better ratings than an action packed, perfect animated, plot twist at the end episode??????

If I were Tate I would be super pissed right now. No if I were Toei I would be pissed.
Someone explain this......I don't care how. Use space login. Just explain.

Well, it's not like anyone knew this episode would be good before it happened. I feel like the previous episode impacts the ratings of an episode more

I'm in the previous ep affects ratings for the next ep boat. That Zeno episode was oddly placed.

I really really hope next episode gets better ratings, because seriously, i'm not sure, but there's a posibility that this could damage the series, maybe Toei will realize that japan likes comedy and kiddie stuff, so they will quit all the seriousness and make Goku even more goofy and childish, maybe they will put a clown red ball nose on Goku and make him do fart noises with his armpits while vegeta dances ballet and sings "let it go" and falls on his face. The pilaf gang will become the new protagonists of DBS and everything will go to complete and utter shit.

Ok, that was obviously an over exaggeration, but i am concerned this rating thing might affect the series, because last time DBS was anything close to serious or "dark" (ROF arc), it also had pretty bad ratings compared to the more light hearted Uni 6 arc and BOG arc, so i hope they don't make it light hearted just to please the kids from Japan and make the ratings go up. That would suck big time and i will be racist towards japanese kids forever (just kidding).
