You do realise that it's pretty likely that there'll be an option to have the japanese voices in it, right? o:

Yes I'm aware, but I'm terrifyed of giving my money to FUNimation after hearing those voices go "Yeah Bitch Mutha' Fucka Skank Gangsta style DBZ". Usually I'm not one to go constantly chastising Video Game voice-overs, but geez that's just....horrible. I mean Gangstas & overly-buffed/ overly-hyper masculinity influenced teens/kids aren't the only ones that like Dragon Ball.

I'll give it a chance mind you, I was just being sarcastic about purchasing the JPN version at my utter shock of some of those voices.

I red that the AI is very bad in the JPN version. The CPU are just flying behind withe their backs wnet to you, THEN they trying to find. Without any results off course.

Not of my concern. My reason for wishing to purchase the Japanese version is purely a collecting matter.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

Play-Asia might be the best import store around. I just ordered Fatal Fury Collection 1 from them last monday, and its sitting on my lap as we speak, and this was with the cheapest shipping. From Hong Kong, that's highly impressive. I never used Lik-Sang much to begin with. The ran out of products very quickly, and the prices weren't that great.

So uh, is (dub) #18 really saying: 'skank' and 'bitch', or is that fake? Or am I just hearing things? :)
Uhh... I heard it too...

That definatly sounded like skank.

Yup, sounded like it. :?

While we're on the subject of cursing, was it just me or does Gogeta say "I'll send you to the next world, bitch!" when he's doing his Big Bang Kamehameha in the video kvon posted? :?
I'm pretty sure he said "I'll send you to the next world with this"

I'm quite skeptical that they'd be throwing in language like skank and bitch.
...
But, then I'm reminded of Jeice in the first game, saying, "Don't play dumb with me, wankah!". :|

I never did figure out if he could've been saying something else, and that I just heard it wrong.

I actually don't know. It's very hard to make out whatever Gogeta's saying during the blast. Do you have the specific time to which it actually happens? Since "skank" has been said, "bitch" wouldn't be that much of a difference.
Haven't gotten to the "skank" yet, but that line is: "I'll send you to the next world in a bit!" The worst thing to get into a DBZ game yet is 'wanker' and the civilized world (XP) doesn't consider that a bad word. :P

EDIT: Yep, that's skank alright. XD But hey, it fits!

Question about Roshi/Kame...

I've seen his most powerful move (in normal, not "buff" form) listed as both the Mafuba and the Bangkok Surprise that used at the 21st Budokai. I haven't seen a video of it yet, so can anyone confirm which one it is?

I've been playing for about 5 days or so and it feels more like Sparking 1.5.. :?

But to have Yajirobe as a playable character kind of makes it worth it :P

Maybe they're saving the name Sparking! 2 for a much better sequel on next-gen systems? Come to think about it, Sparking! NEO is acting as something in between. Then there's going to be a big mess about how to name the next Budokai Tenkaichi.

One question: As soon as somebody on this board got their hands on the PAL version of the game, can you guys confirm whether or not the Japanese music is in the game? ppatoc had recently posted a bunch of PAL videos of the game with the Japanese music. Two guesses: It's either he synchronized the music, or that the PAL version comes with them.

One example:http://www.dailymotion.com/ppatoc/video ... aichi-2-05

Edit- Is it just me, or are the videos of the NA/PAL version of the game showed a slightly faster combos?

Somebody mention that on the Gamespot forum too, he also said that the AI is better on PAL.

Disregard whatever I theorized in the previous thread. Somebody had pointed out that those videos are recorded from a PAL bootleg that has Japanese music fixes. As for the speed thing, it is probably just a glitch resulted from bad burning or source.

What led me to suspect this in the first place? Well, GameSpot has posted new videos that have neither the speed boost nor the Japanese music.

And that Somebody probably bootlegged the game.

I don't think so but I'm pretty positive that it has the Japanese voices which is really great.

Well, if Rory's post is anything to go by, PAL Sparking! Neo doesn't have japanese music. But either way, just buy it and see for yourself. XD If all else fails, mute the music and turn on your favourite DB music either via Winamp or CD.

Yeah, plus then you get the entire song, better quality, and it loops better.

While I'm sure most of us saw this coming from a mile away-- most notably, the Big Three made a guess in their Podcast two weeks ago-- it's probably still worth mentioning that the Wii build of DragonBall Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 has of today been officially confirmed for launch by Atari. It releases on November 19th and will retail for $49.99.

The article doesn't tell us anything else we don't already know, but at least those of us getting a Wii know when to expect the game to hit shelves. Meanwhile, the Japanese version (known as Sparking! NEO) has been listed for a January 31st release.
