Also excited about seeing the future episode titles. Especially wanna know what happens to Vegeta, is he just defeated, or something worse .
Something worse would be something else. Can you imagine if Hit's attack actually takes Vegeta out for a chunk of the rest of the arc?
I mean, Frost hasn't woken up yet.
I read that NewType's being released a day early since the 10th falls on a Sunday this month; so the summaries/titles could potentially arrive as early as today.
My guess is they're saving King Ryû for either the end of the tournament or for the next big plot episodes. I recall them using Toshio (who's done 3 episodes in a row recently - 36, 37, & 38) for early pure battle stuff back during the previous arcs too; so that's my guess as to why he's been doing so many recently.
As a Vegeta fan that's what I'm worried about. What if he kills Vegeta, and the next saga doesn't include him at all. To me that's more likely then Goku being the one killed like some have discussed. I could also see Cabba wanting to help resurrect him with the DB's.

He has been doing that already, Toyotaro says he's allowed to expand the plot and do his own thing (which ruins those claims that the manga was more faithful to Toriyama's story, everything happening there were his ideas, yada yada).
Although i doubt we'd ever see a Toyotaro character making any major appearance like that. The interviewer (and Toriyama) most likely were just being polite to him.
Toyotaros ideas are probably just little bits expanding on Toriyamas plot or else it would be strange for Toriyama to later say "I bet it'll make it more interesting to include Toyotaro-sensei's ideas" if they were much more than that. Either way we know that Toriyama checks the manga so he's going to know what Toyotaros added, and it also means Toyotaros got the Toriyama seal of approval, but we don't know his involvement with the anime. Obviously we don't know for sure which is more faithful to Toriyamas original story, but it seems like the anime has added a lot more story than the manga overall.
I actually wouldn't mind Vegeta being killed off for awhile. Give him a break and have someone else replace him for a bit, as if that would happen though.

Won't happen, but hell yes. It'd avoid the over saturation, while building up to a later grand Vegeta return. Other arcs did that beautifully.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!
Spoiler:
Doctor. wrote:I've explained before, I'll just paraphrase myself.
Power levels establish tension and drama. People who care about them (well, people who care about them in a narrative) don't care about the big numbers or the fancy explosions. If you have character A who's so much above character B, who's the main character, you're gonna be left wondering how in the hell character B, the character we're supposed to care and root for, is going to escape the situation or overcome the odds. It makes us emotionally invested.
If character B doesn't escape the situation in a believable way that's consistent with previous events, then that emotional investment is gone. It was pointless tension, pointless drama made just to suck in the viewer. It has no critical value whatsoever. The audience is left believing that the author can just create whatever scenarios he wants and what happens to the characters is decided by whatever the author wants to happen, regardless of the events that happened in the story. Which, in fairness, is what happens, but the audience wants to be fooled. The audience wants to know that the world they're following has rules. That the world they're invested in isn't going to bend to external factors that are irrelevant to them.
An author can do whatever he wants with the characters, that's not false. But the author should also have the responsibility to make sure it fits in cohesively with the other events in the narrative he has created.

"First I was going to have it be white, but that would clash with the 'next enemy', so I saved it for later."
"I saved it for later" means he has plans to introduce it later down the line.
No, he was basicly saying "I planned on using white, but but it would clash with the next enemy, so maybe another time". He isn't "planning" to introduce it anytime soon. It may happen at some point, but he was totally not saying it was about to happen now.
Yeah, that seems to be the case. On the other hand I can't help but feel that Toriyama may have been joking when he mentioned SSW. I certainly can't bring myself to take what he said about being "saved for later" seriously, because if he were serious we wouldn't have been spoiled in regard to this possible but improbable new transformation.
I feel like this is a possibility if only due to the fact that Vegeta's bad luck always catches up with him. His luck's been too good, too perfect, for a while now in Super. The other shoe has to drop some time.
Also, if they do visit Planet Sadla (man, it would be awful if it happens while Vegeta's dead) they could still employ Horikawa by having him voice Planet Sadla's king or someone the way Tanaka voiced Yajirobe in lieu of Krillin's death.
IKR his luck has been pretty good lately. He's gonna get beaten so bad on the next episode tho, but hopefully he won't be too humiliated. To be honest I don't think the gap between Goku and Vegeta will ever be as huge as it was on dbz, so I can't really see Goku winning either.
I am sorry but I dont see anyone dying this arc because of what toriyama said in the interview which is inside vol#1.
"With the "Battle of gods Arc" and "Revival of 'F' arc" it was one tense story after another, so this time I wanted to have something relatively simple and cheerful...That was what got the ball rolling. I figured I should change the pace".

Are there any upcoming story details in the interview ?
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.
Toriyama already announced they'll be going to Universe 6 and searching for the Super DB's so this character and new universe will probably take place after those events.
Now that we know this much about it's future arcs, how many episodes do you think it'll take to tell them ? I think it's safe to say we'll at least reach 100 with these ideas.

In the interview it says the story is going to be about the future of someone and that could be anyone. It probably is not Future trunks, and is about someone who is relevant now like I interpreted from the quote the other day. We will be going to an universe that is not 6 or 7 so no Frieza clones and no more Saiyans which will be good.

We have many episodes left, over 100 at least now and probably a lot more as Toriyama is enjoying writing new stories and drawing new characters. Dragonball Super is also doing well and once the foreign money comes in the higher probability of dragonball Super continuing.

If it was by any small chance them then why didn't they just say so ?
Before RF was even announced Toriyama was talking about making Vegeta a min character so we know he doesn't mind spoiling future developments for established characters.
Based on how he wrote them in the last 2 arcs and how they're written in the current one, I think it's safe to say it's not them.
