I'd rather save Manabe for the finale now. But I doubt they'd hold rotating him off until then.

So 4 eps of the ToP left, meaning at least 8 supervision teams we have Shimanuki (on next week), Tate, Manabe, Karasawa then presumably TAP, Nii, Nashizawa & Takahashi.
Yeah. I’m willing to bet that Manabe will be on episode 129, the supposed second to last episode of the battle and Tate with him. Because of how popular Yuya is and since Toei knows that, i think he’ll be on episodes 130 where Shida will make a return with some key animation and Karasawa with Yuya. Who’s TAP?

I don't think Shida is going to do any key animation in that episode if he is on it. He will probably be doing story boarding instead but I wouldn't mind if he did.

TAP is Toei's biggest support studio, they were the top key animators on 115.

I’m pretty sure Animeajay said that Shida was confirmed to be doing some animation soon but DONT QUOTE ME ON THAT

I still hope that next week somehow skips 2 mins. 3 episodes of fighting left would be so much more workable. Then it would also leave two episodes to wrap up DBS instead of one.

Yeah, I’ve been hoping for that too. I dont want a repeat of the Future Trunks ending. If my hopes were correct, the final battle would be episode 129. Episode 130 would be about the wish and its possible permanant reprocussions whether its just bringing every erased universe back or some other thing happening. Hopefully Zalama also makes an appearance. It would also end with them going back to Earth and re-grouping with the fam. Episode 131 would start at the end of Z with the whole Tournament and all that junk.

Episode 127 is somewhat resembling episode 65 imo, going by that logic Jiren would go down either in episode 128 or 129.

It will depend if Jiren will use his full power in 127.

The moment we see Shida and Tate together again that means the ToP is over.

Random Big Prediction Incoming

I have a feeling that Yamamuro will be the animation Supervisor for episode 131. He definetly has had enough time and as much as I hate how he has degraded in terms of the Db quality that we all love, i see that he os slowly improving and I feel like it would fit for him to animate the closing of the series. Or he’ll probabaly just be a key animator for the final battle of DBS.

I should hope that the final showdown between UI Goku vs Jiren lasts more than one episode.

I think he will probably do clean-up in the big fight if he is going to be working on the final battle. But, I think that Episode 126 was his final episode for him to appear in.

I think he’s gonna do more. I mean, the last episode he Supervised on was episode 13. With as much influence as he has on DBS, I think he’ll play a more interactive role in its finale whether its the final fight or final episode. A bit off topic but I hope they use less Yamamuro-based character designs for the movie. We’re probably gonna be seeing some primitive saiyans and Super’s bubbly character designs just wouldn’t fit. He’s probably still gonna be the animation supervisor but the character designs should be altered a bit to look more Buu-saga while keeping the clearness that modern Dragon Ball now has. Also, do you know how influential the director is on movies and episodes?

Yamamuro is certainly a possibility given DBS is ending thus no more CD's and I don't see a movie that's due out in December to be that strenuous on him right now.

3 episodes of fighting left or 4 either way we're guaranteed a break between the penultimate and finale... They'll definitely be using that week off I imagine to polish the hell out of that finale... I don't wanna get too exicted but it's looking good!

Definitely, so full of anticipation. Hopefully everything aligns and Toei played their cards right.

If either Tate, Shida or Takahashi are on the final episodes, I'll be happy

I do believe that they will keep the same character designs they have in Super to keep consistent with their work. A director can have huge influence on story and how the episode/ movie flows.

The worst case scenario that seems half-way plausible is that Yamamuro, Ide and Tsuji all act as the animation supervisors and chief animation supervisors for #130 or #131, depending on whether or not the last episode continues the fight or not. We might wind up with another weird situation like Disk Wars: Avengers where Character Designer Tate Naoki was the animation supervisor for Episode #50 but the actual final episode, Episode #51, used weaker staff with Shida Naotoshi doing a quick piece at the beginning of the episode.

Nakatsuru has been a massive miss on DBS. I can only imagine what his SSG/SSR/SSGSS/UI promo art would look like!!
