Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection 'F'"

That seems like it'll be the inevitable climax to the film at this point, which I'm sure is great for Vegeta fans, but for people who are less crazy about Vegeta like me, it's a bit disappointing.I'm not saying that Goku should always be the one to save the day...but Vegeta ?

At the very least, I hope Freeza's defeat in this film will be a dual/team effort, rather than simply having Vegeta fighting Freeza on his own, and coming out on top.

If not Vegeta then who ? regardless of what anyone thinks of Vegeta,it can't be denied that from a story point of view it makes total sense to have him be the hero in this story.

There are only 3 who can help Vegeta,Goku who has a hole in his chest so he probably won't be able to stand and Beerus and Whis obviously have no intentions to step in.

Another thing is Vegeta defeating Freeza on his own shows that Toriyama is willing to try new things for the story which is a very good thing and fans should be happy about it regardless of what character they think should get the spotlight.

Could you imagine the backlash there would be if Goku and Vegeta end up as equals in this movie?

If you mean in terms of taking Freeza down I don't think Goku will have any hand in it based on what condition he was in the last trailer.

If by any small chance he does then the backlash will be huge.

I'd absolutely love this ending. It basically mirrors what happened on Namek and Vegeta more than any other character in this series deserves a moment like this. I would get goose bumps hearing Vegeta finally pronounce himself as the King of all Saiyans while simultaneously killing the man who practically wiped out his entire race and forced him into a live of submission.

Would love for it to be true, but unfortunately rumors usually never are.

It's coming from the parts where she's worried about Kuririn and tries to cover it up. It's not as overbearingly tsundere as most examples - your typical 'B-Baka! I didn't do this for you, I-I did it for me! (so...basically Vegeta, really, just with pigtails) - but it does bear shades of it, kinda.

Also, where do I sign up to make 'This Love, Kuririn & No. 18' a reality? Cuz I'd watch that. I'd watch the hell out of that.

I'm not opposed to giving Vegeta a hand in beating Freeza, I just don't want him to solo Freeza in a 1 on 1 fight like the latest trailer suggested. Having Freeza beat Goku, only to lose to Vegeta sounds like something you would read about in a fanfic made by a hardcore Vegeta fan. I know Toriyama wants to give Vegeta the spotlight, but I don't want him to make Vegeta into some OP Gary Stu.

I would think there'd be some plot point that indicates that, for all Freeza calling himself a "genius", it turns out he couldn't bring out his potential or raise his power to such a level on his own in 4mo and was going to fail. He's then approached by a mystery figure that helps him, but only after beating the snot out of him so Freeza knows just what he's in for. This figure teaches Freeza how to bring out his full potential and raises his power, which he then takes and races off to Earth to have his revenge.

We then see this mystery figure make a brief appearance at the end of the film with a concerned reaction from Beerus like; "Is that....but what is he-?" before the scene ends, giving people a tease that this figure is known by Beerus and is likely another God of Destruction from another universe.

This entire movie already lacks originality. Bringing back Freeza, covering Freeza's final form in a gold and purple paint, etc. It's not like this movie was some new innovative idea. It wasn't, so I hardly see a reason to complain about a lack of originality at this point. Toriyama hasn't been original since the manga ended.
