Li'l Lemmy wrote:While I'm sure most of us saw this coming from a mile away-- most notably, the Big Three made a guess in their Podcast two weeks ago-- it's probably still worth mentioning that the Wii build of
DragonBall Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 has of today been officially confirmed for launch by Atari. It releases on November 19th and will retail for $49.99.
The article doesn't tell us anything else we don't already know, but at least those of us getting a Wii know when to expect the game to hit shelves. Meanwhile, the Japanese version (known as
Sparking! NEO) has been listed for a January 31st release.

YES!!!!!!!!! Unfourtunately, it's not going to get any playing time because of Twilight Princess, but still, I won't have to have another drive to Best Buy 4 days later!

Watching/reading the series is very helpful for these types of questions

He wore that mask when fighting Goku so Goku wouldn't know who it was until after the fight.

Uranai Baba brought him back from the Other World, hence the halo floating above Granpa Gohan's head. How much of DB HAVE you read/watched? (No offense, I'm just curious.)

Nothing Dragonball related, but I am working on it. I didn't realize it was such a big deal to ask a question. I mean this is a Dragonball forum.
EDIT- Thanks kvon

C'mon, guys. Not everybody has seen all the series yet. He wouldn't have known about that without seeing that fight.
Like how I wouldn't recognize any characters exclusive to Dragon Ball Movie 1 or anything.

Ya think? Around here the games ship out on Tuesdays but aren't in stores and on the shelf until Wednesday. Plus EB Games hasn't called me to say it would be in tomorrow and they're usually very good with that, like last week and with my Final Fantasy XII reservation. I'm expecting the call tomorrow and the game on Wednesday. Can't wait!

For those who are interested to see the score for the game besides the ones from Famitsu, here they are:
GameRankings statistics:
Play Magazine (PS2) - 8/10
Link
GamePro (Wii!?!?) - 4.5/5.0
Link
Yeah, about the Wii version: that's damn early! And yet they [GamePro] haven't rated the PS2 version yet.
Still, these people are being a lot kinder than Famitsu. I very excited as to see what IGN and GameSpot think of the game.

Just curious but has anybody from North America been able to get the game, the NA version that is, yet? I probably won't be able to get it until tomorrow and I know it'll be pretty much identical to the PAL version but still, tell us what you think!

I'll be getting my copy tommorow as well. With 4 video game stores at my disposal, there's gotta be at least one that has it.

Well, as you all know, today was the "supposed" release date.
But, I couldn't seem to get my hands on a copy.
I went into best buy... no luck.
I went into Target... no luck.
And I went into Gamestop... "oh, that's coming out tommorow."
Needless to say, I was quite disappointed. I guess I'll have to pick that up tommorow as well.

Yes they did. (As a matter of fact, I bought that while I was in Best Buy looking for Sparking! NEO haha
