This is a project that started in the forum, yes, but it's brown well beyond the limits here. I see no reason to keep others out of the project simply because they aren't a member here.
We're going big *thumbs up*
I've got no problem with non-forum members being in this project, just as long as it works out well.

Anyways, how's the KEVRG going? I think we should get that done as soon as possible so we don't have any more VA dropouts, though I think everyone knows this already (I feel so useless right now! -_-)

Please, I'm working as hard as I can on it. The ex-VAs are all making conscious choices to drop out; it's not like I'm not forcing their hand or anything. And let's face it, even if it were done, you probably aren't ready to record your lines anyway. Get on Skype, see what's required of you. The VRG is all about timing and lip-syncing; you shouldn't need it to practice.

I do have an update but frankly I'm too engrossed in this thing to type it out at the moment. I'll just say that things are looking up, and it will be done [relatively] soon. Thanks for your patience.

For the purpose of the banners, what websites does everyone regular at (besides DaizenshuuEX), and what is the maximum allowed banner size in the signature (if a banner is allowed)? The only place I go to is DaizEX... so... yeah...

EDIT: Oh yes, and it's time to clean out my closet. My YouTube closet. There's just loads of shit in there which are getting 2,000+ views, and they're just 'practise' demos that I did when I was once a video editor. :P And also, I don't want to bring too much attention to this project, because the Dragonball episodes that used to up there got deleted by FUNimation and TOEI after they brought lots of attention (thousands of views). My videos have even got links to this topic in them.

Huh? Wait, did you already record some samples and send them to someone already? o_O

If you could, could you please post it here instead of in a PM? There's more than one of us involved in the voice-directing... >__>
Art, etc. links taken down for now. Will be updated at some point. I dunno.

*Is confused*

You mean what I mentioned back about recording additional stuff on friday/saturday? I ran out of time and wasn't able to record it. Nothing's been sent to anyone other than my original audition way back when.

I don't mind sticking it in a post.

... Oh.

Uh, well, the thing that threw me off was your use of the word "additional". It just sounded like you'd managed to get some line tests in by now and where planning to put up more later.

... My bad...

I stuck several in a zipped folder on my geocities space: http://www.geocities.com/pepsi_girl_veg ... onal29.zip
"If you have to" and "Without thinking" I think are the best of the group.

I have no problem going back and redoing stuff a different way. :3
I didn't notice certain audio clips were in a different pitch than my others until I went back and re-listened to them. ^_^;;

Ewwwww...

Great voice (boy, we're on a role here!), but the sound quality is ABYSMAL. You didn't record this while crunching through some leaf-covered woods on an autumn evening while eating crisps and rustling the packet then simultaneously covering up your sandwiches for your picnic with aluminium foil in the hard wind and accidentally dragging the mic across the floor and into the lake and then approach a thunderstorm, right? :?

I think you should do it indoors.

Will you get a new mic? After all the work and effort that's gone into the project, there's no way I could stand bad-quality voice-overs, and I'm sure other's feel the same.

Well, well, maybe it's clean enough that wavepad can clean it up? *tries*

Yeah, generic noise reduction gets rid of most of the horrible fuzz (I used both of wavepad's noise reduction techniques and they didn't leave any metalism or pulsy-ness), but it still sounds ... hmm... like the sample rate may be a little low? T_T ok, someone that knows more about the hardware will step in soon enough. XD
But I did notice one thing that you might find a way to improve without (much?) trouble... mainly the mic-wind-ness on the sighing. I think just like... looking at a point just a few centimeters from the mic should do it without affecting the quality much?

*agrees with S.P. concerning the acting* skill'd and most fitting for the character.
And... I'll stopistening to audio files before the dub comes out. ^^

That was actually the audio recorder on my videocamera.
I guess I know not to use that. ^_^;;

How good are these microphones? Anyway, your voice is PERFECT for Bulma- and you truly deserve having your name on the front of the DVD cover.

Now, we're on a role, so I expect any other voice actors reading this to put in maximum effort. 8)

My most recent one I got for xmas works the best. It says "ATR 20 Audio Technica Cardioid Low Impendance" around the middle and "Dynamic Microphone" by the on-off switch.

Also I just downloaded Audacity and plan to use that now that I know my "If I use the videocamera's mic I can record anywhere!" idea completely failed. ^_^;

Aw, thanks! Should I go with the higher or lower tone of the two I used? (Maybe that's something I should ask Kino 'n Kaboom though? )

I regular at DeviantArt and one other DB board aside from Daizex's.

Both. It's not like we always use one tone. Just use the one that's most appropriate to the situation; like if Bulma's angry, use the high tone. And if she's thinking and more reflective, use the lower tone.

And for the 'other' DB board, what is the maximum allowed size? And how about DeviantArt?

The other DB board's sig allows a maximum of 750 characters.
I wouldn't use anything longer than 1000 pixels (as that's the length of their header image) and nothing taller than 500 pixels.

For DeviantArt there's a variety of ways.
If you advertise in a journal, the height is practically limitless (but its gotta be a jpg or gif; png doesn't work) and for length I'd say around 600 pixels tops (anything longer gets cut off by the shoutboard and shoutbox).

On DA there's also these things called "stamps" which are miniature 99 x 56 images that either advertise or proclaim something.

Hey, everyone. Dropping a line (via my PSP) to say that I'm having some computer issues, so I won't be on much for the next few days while I get it fixed. I need it for when school starts next week, so I'll have it all straightened out in a jiffy. Please try to keep things moving in the meantime...

Then the ship will be in one peice when you return mi capitán. It must be a pinche puta to have to use your PSP to make posts on Daizex. I know because I have tried using that little texting thing. Dios mío, you probably know that now. Then there is the fact you can't go to websites like Youtube and Google Video because of the outdated browser and all that crap. While you have the PSP out try looking at the Spanish setting. When you go on the main screen (called Home in English and Incio in Spanish), then go to Settings and on to System Settings. On system settings it's under the languages selection. Pick Español and then if you want to switch it back to English do this. Go to "ajustes del sistema" and pick "idioma del sistema" and English is right after Dutch. One other thing is that you can listen to the podcast as a MP3 file on your music files. This is worth checking out instead of using your Ipod. You do need a memory card to do this stuff. PSPs are fun when they work and when you have a wireless hotspot you can use.

Hey, script writers! I was looking at scene 29 of the script, and found some problems:

At first, you say 'power level', then you use 'battle power'. That's inconsistent! ;)

Tullece calls himself a low-class Saiyan, which is bit out-of-character to me:
TULLECE (OS): I can understand your confusion. Many
low-class Saiyans like your father and I look alike.
Gohan should realise that Tullece is a Saiyan after he says this, but he doesn't make that connection (which really surprises him when he does) until Tullece un-wraps his tail:
GOHAN: Who are you?!

TULLECE: Me? Heh. I am...

*Tullece un-wraps his tail*

GOHAN: A... a Saiyan!

TULLECE: Correct. My name is Tullece.

The word 'planet' is repeated twice:
This pretty little blue planet planet was nice once, but now it's doomed to merely wither up and die.
------------------------------------

Also, I did a new video of scene 29! The part when Tullece grabs Gohan, and Piccolo arrives. I made a decision to not use 'Bad To The Bone' for Piccolo's entrance, 'cause that was SHIT.
