With Vegeta taking down a main villain for the first time we might have to wait till the movie opens on the 18th cause I'm sure he'll want to say something about it.

Taking the Kamehameha or Dragon Balls out probably wouldn't be a good idea either.

Sure it could. It would all depend on what kind of story Toriyama or Toei set out to tell. There's nothing inherently wrong with not using some of a series's notable features in new material. Not every Dragon Ball story needs Super Saiyans, Goku's signature attacks or even the dragon balls themselves as long as it keeps the series's general aesthetic and brand of action. I'd welcome stories set in the Dragon Ball universe that ditch most of its familiar trappings. More stories like Jaco: The Galactic Patrolman, for instance.

Jaco's really not what I mean. I mean ditching them as part of a new status quo, like seems to be happening with the new movies and Super Saiyan.

Thought Future Trunks' letter was awesome since we haven't heard from him in ages but then I realised it makes no sense for him to even send a letter. Hahaha, it would be nice to have an older Trunks back in the game.

They should just age Marron and Pan up as the new Z-Fighter brats in exchange for an older Goten and Trunks.

All fangirling aside, it doesn't even make sense for him to send a 'letter' to Bulma. How is this even possible? I have the feeling they are trying to tie this in with Xenoverse, with his talking about messing with time.

Maybe he will make an appearance just to finish off Freeza once again.

Also, I am afraid they honestly have forgotten about Bra...

Okay that does it when it comes to this letter from Trunks. Are they tying this in with Xenoverse? Are they gonna pull a Bardock and make Xenoverse semi canon maybe? Am I just rambling? I'm just happy they finally remembered Future Trunks existed because if I'm not mistaken he was only mentioned once in the buu saga.

It would be interesting to see what threats may present themselves in future trunks timeline. Wait, doesn't new namek exist in his timeline too? Couldn't he have wished everyone back to life? I only just thought Of that.

Okay that does it when it comes to this letter from Trunks. Are they tying this in with Xenoverse? Are they gonna pull a Bardock and make Xenoverse semi canon maybe? Am I just rambling? The blogs tend to break the 4th wall, so they aren't necessarily supposed to be in-universe canon.

We did see Future Trunks slicing up Freeza in the trailer, so there may be some reference to him as Freeza's actual killer. Plus, as far as I know, we still haven't seen anything about Present Trunks (and Goten) for this film, and they should be growing up sooner than later. It would be interesting to see how Freeza might react to Trunks. Kind of like how Broli and Pilaf reacted to Goten.

EDIT: Oh man, I could just imagine how Freeza would react when he finds out the purple kid that killed him is Vegeta's son.

Yup, similarly the first stuff showing Goku for BoG had him in his regular Cell/Buu arc gi.
