I can see Vegetto ending up with Bulma on the grounds that one half already hooked up with her while the other half still sees her as a dear friend.

Eh...that's a bit of an oversimplification. That was his initial line of thought, but then the Goku half of him started having objections because of how pure and righteous and nice he was, and how he was SCANDALIZED about the very idea of having sex with someone he's friend-zoned his entire life, and cheating on his wife. And while I think that's not a fair shake to how much Vegeta loved HIS wife...well, honestly, I can see Vegeta at least not having as many holdups about, say, polygamy, just considering the barbarian society he was raised in.

Anyways, the way the story ends, Vegetto eventually gets fed up with the two familys wanting him to be either Goku or Vegeta, and wants to be his own person instead...and just happens to be attracted to Bulma. And then he decides to visit both of the families periodically, while only having sex with Bulma. There's no weird statistics going on there, and thank goodness. I would've absolutely hated it otherwise...

And yes, I read what essentially amounted to a slash fic, or at least, was a slash fic for the 1/3rd of it I read. Yes, I was THAT curious as to why Vegetto only chose Bulma. Although I will say it was actually much more realistically written than I expected it to be.

And I personally dislike that being why Vegerot ends up with Bulma. Chi-Chi, not seeing Vegerot the same way she saw Goku, should have just refused to be with Vegerot. Bulma, not having as strict convictions as Chi-Chi, would decide to give Vegerot a chance, and eventually falls in love with him.

And even then, he seems to be doing fairly well so far, chastising himself for wanting to punch a hole through Gohan the same way Bra would've wanted to, and trying to calm himself down.

I still think Vegito should have decided the best thing to due would be to not be with Chi-Chi or Bulma sexually but simply be Husband to both and Bra is conceived in a one night stand.
