I concur. I knew Laura Bailey was replaced because it was announced ahead of time, but were it not for that, I would think it was Laura Bailey herself. Alexis Tipton did a phenomenal voice-match.

I might just be seeing things but I think the latest promo for Kai on toonami (that was shown about a minute ago) had the green tint removed.

Final chapters has its /entire/ opening foregone but I get the feeling this was done to allow Super a full opening and ending tonight

Ok it does look like they removed the green tint, but I wont say for sure until I watch it on my computer later.

I was gonna say, between visuals and audio, audio has always stuck out to me more, so it could be that I'm just not catching it.....but....is it just me, or is the tint gone?

Part A:

-The little bumper at the beginning is kept
-Sounds like the recap is using the audio from Kai 1.0's dub.
-And yes it's widescreen sadly
-Opening is Fight It Out and is not dubbed by a native speaker and uses Masatoshi Ono's vocals and is shown in full.
-Title card font is the same as 1.0
-Kyle's Gohan sounds different from how he does in Super
-Kara's Videl sounds like a younger version of her Super voice which is expected
-Sharpener & Erasa sound good to me
-Erasa's line "This new guy's hot." had me rolling

Part B:

-I noticed this now, but Golden Fighter from the old dub is now Golden Warrior
-The Gym teacher has an accent now unlike the original dub
-ED is Never Give Up and is cut short.

Ah man, it feels SOOO GOOD watching the Buu arc with a Kai dub. I'm just so fucking happy right now.

I swear the green tint is gone. I was watching it in bad quality in a live stream so I could be wrong. It doesn't look as bad as I remember it being though.

These next few episodes are going to be interesting to see whats different from their Japanese counterparts.

It's completely unfitting. Should've had Sabat use his regular voice. That would've fit better.

Gotta remember that since this show was initially being edited together for overseas broadcasts, then only aired in Japan when Toriko was cancelled, so the earlier episodes were cut down even further. What we're watching over here should be considered the definitive version of the show by all accounts.

Also, since no one's complaining about the green tint, I assume it's not present at all?

I didn't notice it on my TV monitor at all, but I'll have to watch it on my computer later to say for sure.

Alright, so if The Final Chapters has been color corrected, it was done by Funimation, not Toonami, and will likely be for home release as well
