Tanooki Kuriboh, I think that Vegeta doodle looks cute, and Captian-Sora, your OC reminds me a lot of Goku, I wish I could draw like you.

Anyway Here's a picture I drew (Bulma's sitting BTW, that's why she seems so short).

I am in no way a master of Toriyama style, if you want that talk to Announcer Guy or Dchan but here is my rendition of Movie Goku as done by Toriyama.

Well, I don't really draw DBZ stuff very often...in fact, really just around this time every year. However, I'll post some of the stuff I just did a few weeks ago. Whenever I've drawn DBZ characters in the past, I've drawn them in the standard 'Toriyama Style', though trying to blend it with my own...it's worked in its own different ways over the years, though for the most part it's always some weird pseudo blend between my style for most of the body and his for the face and hair.

In the past few years, though, I've visited a lot of Japanese blog sites with Oekaki, and a surprising amount of artists try to use their own art styles to draw DBZ characters which is interesting - most western fanartists seem to stick to 'Toriyama Style', from my experience. So, I thought I'd give drawing Dragonball characters a shot in my style.

Vegeta
This one's still got the 'Toriyama Style' eyes I'm used to drawing on DB characters, but I tried to be a little more 'me' with the hair.

Chibi Gokou
Waaaay too broad shoulders for Chibi Gokou, I know, but otherwise I like this one.

SSJ2 Gohan
Something iffy about the anatomy/posturing of this one, but still, I like it. I find it strange that (in this and some other drawings I did of him) Gohan looks older in my style...not that the uber-buff kid looked 10 in DBZ, but he looks even older here, like 14 or 15.

Gee, I wonder who my favorite character is. ^^; Just some more random sketching that I did in one of my more boring classes.

DBZ Chibis
This is how I always draw Chibi/SD characters, DB or otherwise.

I've got more, but they've yet to be scanned, and I'm still without power at home due to this massive insane ice storm that hit Massachusetts, so I'm currently without scanner...I'll post 'em up when I get the chance ^^;

No? I got it from the same person I got the first one from. The Michael Phillips pic had been around for a while before I even knew it existed.

Don't ask me why I decided to this...I just did.

I constructed the Fusion Dance for teen Goten and Trunks (or well, my IGNO versions of them) out of JUMP! Ultimate Stars sprites...and it was no easy task. In the end I'm rather pleased with how it turned out, though. And of course, I also had to create a teen Gotenks.

Goten is edited from Gokou, and Trunks from Vegetto (Trunks' hair is from the Chibi Trunks that shows up when Gotenks defuses), primarily. I ended up mixing and matching limbs from Vegetto and Gokou by the end so it's kinda all over the place. Teen Gotenks is made from Vegetto and JUS Gotenks.

I just felt like posting this somewhere, because deviantART has now forbidden me to upload sprites. -_-
