The game then should be announced soon and probably by e3.
XV was announced in May's Vjump and fully reviled at E3 so the same might happen again with whatever game he's talking about.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

He did not confirm what game he is working on and many people automatically assumed it is xenoverse 2 even though there are other Dragonball games coming aswell.

Like Pilaf and his gang show up on the last minute to ruin everything.
Impossible in the anime, as they weren't included and surely they must have known even before deciding to exclude those crappy characters.
Crappy characters? :lolno:

The Pilaf gang are THE BEST.

Not for me Tek.
I dislike the fact, they were brought back from obscurity in the new material. I'd rather they just stayed gone and at least Toei did the decent thing and excluded them from the tournament. I can only hope Toriyama doesn't take revenge and give them a bigger role in the new stuff, but who knows with Toriyama.
It was silly of the anime to not even explain that they actually have history with Goku and co.
If one had only seen DBZ, you could get the impression, they were brand new characters.

I liked them in BOG, but they wore out their welcome by the time Super rolled around imo.

I'd like to see Lunch come back, if we're going about bringing back forgotten characters.
On hiatus.

Pilaf gang sucks. They were the worst part of dragonball imo. The only character from dragonball I really want to see is Grandpa Gohan. I feel like the 7 years being dead would have made Goku visit him but we didn't see any of that..

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

That's mainly because the retellings made everything much worse. In the movies they were fantastic.

The Pilaf gang's roles in the movies were totally welcome--they're a ton of fun in Battle of Gods and Resurrection F.

The series really, really botched that. It still feels completely inexcusable that we never even got an explanation for their being children in Super, or that they barely interacted with the main cast. It's like no one even bothered to check that the elements they sought to reproduce from the movie were fully explained or necessary. Unbelievably sloppy. I remember hoping Pilaf would show up in the summaries each week that arc was airing, believing that there had to be more explanation for them and a reason for their being there at some point. There wasn't. It's a shame, because they had the opportunity to do something just as fun as the movie.

But yeah -- we must never forget that if you were only watching Super, you'd have no idea why the three of them are children. The only reason we weren't constantly asking this during the first arc is because we had information from the movie this series was meant to function independently from.

Yeah. In the movies they made for great comedy. In the series they took out all their best bits and added no good new ones. I seriously don't remember any good scenes with them in the series, but I can name PLENTY from the movies.

They made a new DBZ movie after 17 years and they wasted 10 minutes of what was only a short movie initially on a Pilaf subplot that had nothing to do with the main plot which was lacking in the first place.

They should have removed them entirely and had another 10 minutes spent developing the plot or giving Piccolo or Gohan more screentime.

Counterpoint: The Pilaf gang-Trunks-Gohan bit was one of the best parts of the movie.

You may just have nailed it.
And he had, in fact, nailed it. At least for now.

We don't know yet, i still think he's strong and motivation stuff is stupid. I feel it's same like they did with Frost, constantly telling us that he's good.

I totally agree with you on that also another thing that bugged me is finding out monaca is an amateur and was used for motivational purpose for goku & vegeta to get stronger this is totally bs doesn't make sense at all!!!

I think both issues are a 'wait-and-see' sort of thing.

Hit was eager for Goku to transform off-the-bat, so there's potentially something in that - maybe, for example, for his power to be most effective, he needs to be fighting strong opponents? At this point in time, it's too early to be writing out the whole Base Goku > SSB Vegeta posts - we just don't know enough about Hit; it's possible that the guy isn't all that strong at all, he just has a special ability which proves incredibly advantageous. In my mind, that would align quite nicely with the fact that his attacks seem only aimed at vital points. Maybe he has realised the wisdom in getting battles out of the way with quickly before his lack of strength is found out?

As for the Monaka thing, it doesn't surprise me how he has been thrown in there as a gag, but again, it's a wait-and-see sort of thing. Toriyama is at his best when he's playful and double-dealing.

For real though! The only time I've seen Goku cry hard was when he saw his Grandpa again as a kid. Imagine that Grandpa Gohan seeing Goku all grown up, that could be one emotional moment. This really should happen.
