Um, not to mean any disrespect, but isn't this seeming a bit too ironic? Bardock is appearing in every new DB material precisely because he's popular, even gathering more attention (currently) than Trunks. He just doesn't appear in official stuff because he's dead.

I can't truly appreciate the character going just by the video-games forever and ever. Come on, is Bardock going to do something worthy/make appearances only there? Seriously... It is like Bardock needs other hands rather than the author's to shine, it is pathetic.

And what kind of attention is Trunks gathering, exactly, for you to say he has enough of it? A blog post implying he won't ever come back again and a major role in a video game... yay. Saying "enough" of Future Trunks is saying "enough" of Gohan, "enough" of Piccolo, it won't happen and it shouldn't happen seeing as how he was just as important to the story as they were and has the right to get comparable screen time to them, which he doesn't. Bardock wasn't supposed to be a major character anyway, Trunks was. And you can't compare Trunks and Bardock, if we count only his canonical appearances (Dragon Ball Minus and Bardock vs Freeza scene from the TV Special), they both together doesn't even make up an episode. And yes, I think it is much being a secondary character, all his role in Androids saga pretty much establishes his screen-time, plus a TV Special, plus his "own games" (Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai - Another Road/Dragon Ball Online/Dragon Ball Xenoverse).
By the way, I can't consider Episode of Bardock since Toriyama doesn't consider... So, it's like it were nothing that OVA.
Not complaining negatively (even if it's possible lol), I like Future Trunks. It's just... Enough.
