Five contestants on the U7 side and Goku and Vegeta are the only ones to win. That's pretty disappointing really. People were already complaining about the others not doing anything before, this ain't helped levitate that criticism has it?

They've definitely gotta get some other characters involved somehow. Have Buu do something or Monaca or Gohan.

And in the next arc, even if the other characters don't win at least give one or two of the others a decent fight. Bring Cabba over to U7 to train under Vegeta and have him do something.

It's a little limited at the moment.

YES. Gohan, Boo and Piccolo can still be relevant in the U6 travels.

Well they did say Gohan had the most potential so they could do something with him.

They could maybe have Buu pull a bit of a Frieza where it turns out he's naturally really strong even though he's never trained.

They could give Piccolo a Namekian God form.

Usually each arc gave us a new Z Fighter and they haven't had that so far with Super and Cabba would be a good fit because of his potential.

Bring Future Trunks back and have him be much more powerful.

Have Goten and Trunks get serious with their training and have Gotenks be more powerful than before.

Android 18 could go see Dr Briefs and Bulma about having an upgrade.

Krillin, Tien and Yamcha could go to the Supreme Kai's World and have Elder Kai bring their full power out or they could learn Kaioken.

They could easily shove em all up a few levels.

I can only see Piccolo, a new Z-fighter which is hopefully Hit and future trunks. I just don't see Gohan training that hard.

Could be. If it is the case, that Mira is the one who will appear before Champa tries to destroy his team, then maybe Toriyama's white villain comment really was referring to Mira.
It is also apparently drawn by Toyotaro? Maybe he'll skip ahead again in the next chapter, instead of covering the final battles in the tournament in much detail.

Of course let's not jump to conclusions, could just be promotion for Heroes(though I sincerely hope it isn't just that).
Also Goku, Cabba and Hit teaming up to take down the joke U6 characters?

Come to think it, wasn't there supposed to be 3 DB artists? Oiishi, Toyotaro and the guy who does the Discross or whatever it was called?

Looks like one of the regular V Jump artists. The ear lobe shape is very similar from what I can see.
