I hope the movie comes with a pamphlet of the entire ending credits so we don't have to wait until the home video release to find out who did what...

I don't know why people complain about Brolly so much. So what if he was the most obscenely overpowered character in all of them. His motivations were rather easily understood; he's wrecking your $hit because he can. That's all. Period. He needed nothing else. Look at all the other film villains.

Garlic Jr.: You took my daddy away!
Dr Wheelo: I'm tired of being a brain in a jar!
Turles: Hey I'm yet another sibling of Kakkarot's! And look I'm evil!
Lord Slug: Stop calling me King Piccolo!
Cooler: I'm different from my brother!
Meta-Cooler: It's not the same thing!
Android #13: Ah'm the only villain with a southern accent, yee-haw! Oh an ah'm just another 'droid made by Dr. Gero.
Bojack: I'm a space pirate! Yargh!
Janemba: Janemba-Janemba! [*Translation: No I'm totally different from Majin Buu!*]
Hirudegarn: RAAAAAAWGH!! [*Translation: No I'm not just a big bug monster version of Freddy Krueger!*]
Hatchyect: ....they just wanted to show all the other movie villains again. Except Brolly...because reasons. And Hirudegarn. Because he was already smoke.

Dude, there's a big difference between calling someone good, and accurate. You can like Linda all you want, but it's fact that Ayres is more accurate to the character. You can like Linda's voice for the character more, but you can't deny Ayres is the more faithful portrayal to the character of Freeza. You can't call his opinion wrong as Ayres is the more accurate portrayal. You can disagree with Linda Young sounding like Rita Repulsa though. I'm with Ajay though.

Honestly, i'd probably give each form it's own voice, with Linda playing the first form and Ayres playing the final form. But that's just me. No idea who'd be the middle forms though.

He's more "accurate" because Kai is more faithful to the manga than the original Funi dub, nothing to do with Ayres himself.

Entirely disagree. Every nuance of his character is perfectly conveyed through his voice. The lines are only one part of the overall product.

You could give Young those lines and yeah, you'd get a more accurate Freeza, but the overall character would still be misplaced.

This makes me curious to hear Young reading Ayres' script.

Exactly. It's not just the script. His tone, his acting, Ayres matches the character far more. It's the same with Kaio. Sure we have a more accurate script, but people can point out everything wrong with Schemmel's performance as him. Hell you can easily do that with Recoome and Sabat.

Yeah, but well... I'm calling she both (good and accurate) I don't like Ayres as Freeza all that british accent and forced polite mannerisms seems like something that don't fit for me. Nakao is the original Freeza and Linda Young is the one of the best I might think because I don't taking into account my own contry dub, which is one of the best too.

If I'm not mistaken, one of the reason's that Ayers replaced Young is because she couldn't read the script. Not in the time that she had to say the lines.

But Linda is factually not accurate. Sabat when it comes to Recoome or Jeice is factually off. You can like a voice all you want, doesn't mean it's factually right for the character. I like Kaio's voice, even though many here are right that it's very unfitting for him. I'm ok with that.
Kakarot9001 wrote:My opinions man, just respect.
I don't believe you should take that advice yourself. Besides liking something that people would label as bad or inaccurate isn't wrong. I can like bad video games all I want, all that matters is if I enjoy them or not. They can factually be poorly programmed and down right terrible.

Half the time, with Linda Young's Freeza, you couldn't tell if he was trying to kill Goku or hit on him. He had stupid one-liners like "pop goes the weasel," and he sounded like someone's chain-smoking grandmother.

I never got a polite impression from Young's Freeza except in Raging Blast 1. Ayres is just better, and it seems like FUNimation is aware of that. She's a fine voice actress though, her Genkai from YYH was on point
Tim Duncan is dope and forever.

Ride em Cowboy is polite!? . Young's Freeza both acting and script is the furthest from polite you can get.

Hahaha, oh my god yes. I personally don't mind Young's Frieza that much because I'm so used to her, but I really like Ayres' Frieza and even TFS' version of the character, I think theirs sounds a tad similar to Ayres tbh.

I'm all for Ayres returning for the newest film, I remember as a kid never knowing if Frieza was actually a male or female and I don't want others having to go through that same struggle.
