Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection 'F'"

The older AT gets the worse his plotholes get. He is getting rid of SSG form and instead giving Goku and Vegeta(if Vegeta new "transformation" makes him look like) Mystic form that belonged to Gohan(hence why he goes SS in this movie).

Frieza reviving in pieces is another retcon waiting to happen
Gohan still going SS after it was stated he didn't need it due to his Unleashed Potential is a future retcon after this movie.

Anytime a plothole is being brought up to AT he retcons that plothole in.

Not only is that almost certainly not what's happening, that wouldn't be a plothole if they explained it well, and having not seen the movie you can't know the explanation yet.

Then prepared to be disappointed when SSG no longer appears at all in this new movie.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I wouldn't be surprised by no SSJG in the new movie. I'm just saying I don't think Mystic is being 'transferred' in that way.

And regardless, that particular character is a very smart, educated, sophisticated, and well-spoken individual. One that a lot of people like. Heck, I'd actually say Lord Varys' sophisticated and proper character isn't too far off from how Freeza is (save the temper tantrums that Freeza throws).

To be fair, Kuririn shaving isn't necessarily a retcon or a plothole. It's just...a development. He grew his hair out in the Buu Saga, cut it into nifty spikes for BoG, then shaved it for FnF/RoF, then grew it out again for the final chapter. People change their hair.

You guys should use your "head-canon" a little more.

If you don't like Dragon Ball Minus, just pretend it didn't happen and go with the Bardock story version that you like.

If you don't like BOG or FnF, just pretend they didn't happen.

If you don't like Star Wars Episode VII when it comes out, pretend it didn't happen.

But, let there be a chance that we get an amazing new movie. I think it's sweet that Toriyama is back. If he messes up, then I just pretend it didn't happen. I wish he didn't goof, but overall, I have faith in him. There will likely be things that I wish he didn't do in the movie, but, I can take what I want/like and ignore what I don't.

Because of how Goku went into SSG PROVING that HE CAN TRANSFORM INTO THAT STATE IN BOG. Eliminating the use of the form when the reason the Earth still stands is a plothole that will be retconned.

I have a feeling SSJG will not appear anymore. Instead, Goku's aura might be magenta, and maybe his hair will have a reddish highlight whenever he powers up. =P

Yes and that was an error on both there and AT's for not checking how Bra actually looked in GT. Had anyone really looked into it he would have been accused of several negative things(lucky he wasn't at the time).

Did you not read the post? Daizenshuu 7 predates GT. There was nothing to check.

Because as it is stated in the databooks: "Kuririn no longer waxes his head because he got married to C18 and the choice was because of love."

Kuririn doesn't need to shave his head to be a good fighter as shown in the Tarble Special.

Did you NOT see Bulla's official design in GT by Akira Toriyama? That is why facts made before events can't be taken into context if they DON'T match the creators design. He probably forgot to update his facts after making the designs.
