Looks awesome!

The only thing I dislike is the 180 seconds time limit in world tournament mode, cell games etc... like what the heck?
Looking at the video, that's clearly a changeable option when you select the mode settings. I'm sure you'll be able to disable the timer.
Koitsukai wrote: Tue Sep 03, 2024 2:15 pm Other World Tournament included in the Tournament mode... so that means we will get that stage and also Paikuhan, for sure. Or maybe just the stage. That tourney should include Olibu, Paikuhan, and the other weird-looking participants like Torby and Arqua(that fish guy), and the one that turned into a cocoon. However, I don't think we'll get those guys.
The map is set to Random when they highlight that mode so I doubt the map (or Paikuhan) will be available. It probably just has different rules than the other modes (like it did in Tenkaichi 3 tho I can't remember the specifics for sure).

So we have our look at the Main Menu, I kinda wished it was like the old Budokai Tenkaichi games but I'm used to the look of the Ultimate Ninja Storm main menus so I guess it's not the worst thing

Oh and do we have "other world tornament"? Paikuhan indirectly confirmed?
It seems like a strong indicator especially when the Bojack movie tournament reference is being cut. Hope the mushroom announcer returns as a voice just as he was in the old games.

Majin Buu Saga trailer tomorrow

Only two characters I think we'll see that are new: Kibitoshin and Kid Uub

Maybe paikuhan as well.

The last trailer could be Super or a mix with OG and GT.

The last one has to be the DBS trailer. We need to see the ToP stage and Silver UI Goku. And have we seen Hakaishin Toppo? I know his face is in one of the slots. That should cover the rest of the roster, I don't think we have much room left for a third trailer. I guess around the 20th we'll get that one.

I believe there are 25 slots left, I’m not sure how many DBS characters remain to be included, but I think there’s a decent chance for at least a few DB/DBGT characters. Well, 24, because Bardock is in, and I wouldn’t rule out Z Broly just yet.

Your first mistake was assuming we're getting base game GT characters.

We will probably see Tagoma, Shisami, Cabba, Frost, Auta Magetta, Botamo, and Catopesra next.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the base roster is meant to exclusively consist of “canon” characters, which would mean no Paikuhan.

Besides the fact people will continue to call Ebonics, "Gen Z Slang" or "Internet Slang"...

Kid Trunks saying "No Cap? Let's Go" is in-character, kinda funny, and a harmless dub change that fits with modern times. It might age poorly once the term "No Cap" phases out of mainstream slang but in this moment I like it.

We just need Ribrianne to say "It's the lack of nose for me 😍" when facing Krillin.

Come to think of it, didn’t the old games have old school references like Peanut Butter Jelly Time?

Gotenks says it in Tenkaichi 3.

The dub being embarrassing isn't new. Just wish we didn't have to deal with dubtitles.

How is Trunks saying "No Cap" embarrassing? It's in character and still fits the translation believe it or not. I can see it being a dubism if Vegeta or Goku said it.

My guess on the last 25.

Super:
1. Tagoma
2. Shisami
3. Frost (1st form)
4. Frost (final form)
5. Cabba
6. SSj Cabba
7. SSj2 Cabba
8. Auta Magetta
9. Botamo
10. Catopesra

DBZ Movies & Filler:

11. Coola (4th form)
12. Coola (Final form)
13. Metal Coola
14. DBZ Broli
15. DBZ Broli (SSj)
16. DBZ Broli (LSSj)
17. Janemba
18. Paikuhan

Others:

19. Shin (We saw him in one screen shot)
20. DB Goku
21. Oozaru
22. General Blue
23. Tao Pai Pai
24. Tambourine
25. Young Piccolo Daimao

GT and the other movie characters will probably be DLC.

Shin not being included in yesterday's trailer makes zero sense. I'm not sure if they did it because he doesn't fight anyone in the anime besides getting bitch-slapped by Boo? But in that case, Cui shouldn't be included as well since he doesn't *really* fight Vegeta.

I dunno. Either he's out (which makes the Tenkaichi Budokai menu screen mighty suss), or they are saving him for some other trailer.

Or they flat out forgot to add him XD

Based on your DB Super list, you seem to be going with the game doing a decent recreation of the RoF saga, the #6 tournament arc and a few ToP matches. Which makes sense.

I wonder when we'll find out who the last pre-order character is. Surely it has to be someone special, right? They wouldn't keep it under wraps for this long if it was someone mundane.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!
