There's an interesting tidbit I stumbled across while watching a video about Dragon Ball Super History Book, and apparently they went with younger looking for Time Kaioshin instead of older version. I think it's a shame because she'd be better off being prettier instead of being a kid.

It was Toriyama who did XENOVERSE characters design?

Previous interviews said that he designed two characters (likely Towa and Mira, back during DBO) and then looked over the rest. His name does seem to appear in one of the paragraphs, but seeing how it's not printed large and in bold like half the other portions showing stuff he designed, I'm going to say no to the Demigra and Time Kaioshin being his concepts. They don't really look like his current style either.

Toriyama did he designs for Tika (Time Kaioshin) and Demigra. Towa and Mira were both from DBO, which Toriyama had previously worked on before. Tika and Demigra were designed specifically for Xenoverse, while Towa and Mira were adapted into it. Far as Demigra's design, TeamFourStar and others have promptly pointed out how he looks a lot like Magus from Chrono Trigger.

I mean his design isn't all that different from other villains he's done. Like Dhoulmagus from DQ8, who really just looks like the fugly baby of Magus and Kefka.

What's neat is that the white hair and skin is a result of him being possessed by an evil being inhabiting that sceptre. In the original version of the game, we could never really clearly see him in his natural state as flashbacks were depicted in sepia tone. The only noticeable difference was that he originally had dark hair. In the 3DS port, they added some new scenes that show him pre-possession in full color.

Nice! I always wondered about Demigra, as he also doesn't seems to me like Toriyama's work.
It's not about his ''Mage'' style, the face and hair somehow don't fit.

Magus in Chrono Trigger was awesome.

Again, there's nothing saying Toriyama was involved in Demigra or the Time Kaioshin's designs. The placement of their concept art in the Super History Book probably suggests the opposite, though I'm waiting on Herms to receive his book so I can ask about a translation for that page (as well as the one with Toriyama's Freeza Clan designs for Heroes).

I can see it now. The Adult form is when Tika transforms to use her full power as the Time Kaioshin. Kinda like how Washu goes from her loli form to her Goddess form.

So, I have no idea how long it lasts, but for some reason right now, Xenoverse (among a pretty good listing of other games) is on sale for pretty ridiculously cheap on PSN. You can get the game alone (for PS4, at any rate) for only $15.99. You can get the PS4's Season Pass of DLC for $14.99. Or you can get a bundle of both for only $25.99. Not a bad deal on any of that if anyone out there's still looking for it and doesn't mind not having a physical copy.

Ah, wait, the PS3 versions of all that is on sale too! PS3 copies are the exact same price seems like. And as a side note, Battle of Z's PS3 version is on sale for $7.49, and the Vita version is $4.99.

Anyone here have the PC version and are willing to give me a hand with something? Apparently there is a no Hud mod for the game and I'd like to get some recordings of my character. unfortunately I only have the PS4 version which prevents a lot of the awesome recording.
