I wonder how Goku will bring Zeno to the present in the manga. Bulma said the time machine can't go back to Trunks' specific timeline anymore, so something has to change. We know Zeno ends up in the present due to the manga ToP trailer having 2 Zenos

It was a plot-hole in the anime that Goku was able to immediately use the time machine to bring Zeno to the present. He shouldn't have had enough fuel. I wonder if the same plot-hole will be present in the manga, because it's possible that it came from Toriyama himself.OLKv3 wrote:You right you rightBasako wrote:It wasn't really him, but Freeza appeared in chapter one in the mental training Goku was doing while farming. Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Does anyone think we might get some of the stuff in-between the Black and Survival arcs that the anime did?
I imagine the baseball episode is a definite no-no, but I wonder if we might get Hit vs Goku or the Krillin training thing as a 1 or 2-chapter aside before the Universe Survival arc gets going. Of course, Toyotaro might want to just skip over that and get right into the meat of things, but what do you guys think?

The point of Dragon Ball is to enjoy it. Never lose sight of that.

There's nothing indicating we might see pre stuff before the new arc, I mean by all the content we saw from the manga until today It's logical to assume that Toyotaro will just go through the Universe Survival arc after FINALLY ending this arc for f***'s sakeRobo4900 wrote:I imagine the baseball episode is a definite no-no, but I wonder if we might get Hit vs Goku or the Krillin training thing as a 1 or 2-chapter aside before the Universe Survival arc gets going. I'm pretty sure we won't be getting any of that. I'm not even convinced we're getting the Exhibition matches. I expect we get the idea of the tournament first then we skip over a lot of recruitment really only giving time for 17 and Freeza.Robo4900 wrote:Does anyone think we might get some of the stuff in-between the Black and Survival arcs that the anime did?

I say we have three chapters before the tournament, which would start in the forth.
I think the exhibition matches will turn in exhibition match, it feels almost essential to have the Goku and Toppo rivalry and everybody hating Universe 7. I said it before, Gohan and Boo level of involvement at the start seems like Toei throwing a bone at those characters.
Prepare to see Boo in like three panels.
Looking at the first episode of the Tournament and the second(based on the NEP), I hope Toyotarõ saves - forgive me the slight exaggeration - the start of the tournament. I for sure don't expect him to give 20 pages to Basil.

It doesn't need to be a fight. It could just be a vague meeting between the Gods and angles about the tournament that Toppo and Goku are invited to come a long too, where it comes to light that Goku reminded everybody. Hell, the Toppo and GOku rivalry doesn't really seem to factor in much other then a line of dialouge. Toppo telling GOku that he doesn't intend to act on an vendetta, just win the tournament.LightBing wrote: I think the exhibition matches will turn in exhibition match, it feels almost essential to have the Goku and Toppo rivalry and everybody hating Universe 7.
What I wonder is if they'll still have Frieza and Goku getting attack by assassins. I mean, in the narrative sense it doesn't seem that plot relevant, but I wouldn't be surprised if Toriyama wanted a slaughtering reintroduction to Frieza.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Considering how he is pacing the latter half of the Black arc why do we suddenly have to rush the U.S arc? It is obvious Shueisha aren't bothered about catching the anime up and the Manga has gone from promo to the anime to an alternate take, at this rate the U.S arc will start in Sept/Oct and by then the arc will most likely be over in the anime so there is no sense in rushing.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Three more chapters of FT arc is way too much. We will get two at most. It's basically a given the Zeno button will be pressed in the next chapter.LightBing wrote:I say we have three chapters before the tournament, which would start in the forth.

I didn't mean three more chapters of the current arc. I meant three chapters of recruiting/exhibition/introduction, then the actual tournament. For the current arc, I expect it to end this month.emperior wrote:Three more chapters of FT arc is way too much. We will get two at most. Yeah I can imagine that's how the first three chapters of TOP will be. I really do hope he doesn't skip the exhibiton matches, it was great development for Gohan, Toppo having a grudge against Goku and gave Buu's only real big moment in Super.LightBing wrote:I didn't mean three more chapters of the current arc. 42. Dragon Ball Super #3 (17,280 / 236,720)
Mangas popularity continues to increase, at this rate I could see Volume 4 cracking the 300K mark before dropping out of the Top 50 ranking.
It contains memorable moments such as:
Goku vs Merged Zamasu
Hakai
Gamma Burst Flash
