Pretty sure he wrote ゾロ, so both are acceptable romanizations.
Normally I'd agree with you, but since Roranora Zoro (the OP character) has been stated to be a refference to a real pirate ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fran%C3%A7ois_l%27Olonnais ) who used a nom de plume of Rorane Zoro, I think it's pretty obvious what the intended spelling is.

Pretty sure he Wrote Zoro, so Zoro is his name. When Viz decided to rename him "Zolo" they started also editing Art, not only to make his name Match their Edit, but lots of other stuff too...
They tranlsated "Mogu Mogu no Mi" (Mole Mole Fruit) as the "Diggy Diggy Fruit" and the "Tori Tori no Mi: Model Falcon" (Bird Bird Fruit: Model Falcon) as the "Tweety Tweety Fruit" . So "Zolo" is a Sign that the manga is edited.

ANYWAYS, this is off topic.

So howabout that Colorized Dragon Ball Manga?
Daaamn. Don't you guys go buying french comics, you'd go insane.

Goodness.

Well... .png is definitely a higher quality format than .jpg, and since the resolution of the images we both are saving are the same, we really are a bit limited in terms of how large we can make the resolution of our saved images. I did consider saving larger images like you do, but using the zoom feature seems to degrade the quality of the image so much so that it defeats the point (which is to simply have a way to read the manga). Here's a comparison of both of our techniques (rereboy then SSj_Rambo):

Image Image

Yeah, your dimensions are definitely higher, but the resolution/quality between the two isn't that different since the source is the same (though if your technique does gain an edge in that sense, mine probably wins it back by using a lossless format vs a high compression format).

Not that I'm trying to seem aggressive or hostile, it's just something I felt like saying.

I'm trying to do a Print Screen on the One Piece Chapters, and it's not working, whenever the manga viewer is open, it disables the print screen function.
Yep, as Cold Skin stated, I use Fastone Capture, which allows me to take a controlled Print Screen snapshop of exactly and entire window, at hi-res. I do also want to recomend Fastone Image Viewer, which IS free, and has a plethora of amazing features (i.e. adding drop-shadows, quick cropping, sucession viewing, rotating and tons of others in the most simple and effecting manners), and is your best option for image viewing/re-sizing/re-encoding/simple editing, and one of the best freeware programs out there in my opinion.

I wasn`t trying to suggest that I did a better job than you SSJ_rambo. For all I can tell you know much more of this stuff than I do.

I apologize if I sounded like that.

All I was trying to say is that mine is in a higher format, which I like much more, especially because its one page at a time and not two, and its easier for me, personally, to read.

As for degrading the quality of the image... Well, Its not very noticeable the loss in quality. By comparing yours and mine, its hard to say if mine has less quality, or just has certain things more noticeable because its bigger.

For example, if I take my image and open it in my image editor and put it with the dimensions of your image, I can hardly tell the difference between the two.

Here`s mine resized:
Image

Here`s yours:
Image

Yours appears to be a little more sharp. But its a difference I can live with.

And from now on I will save the images as .png as you suggested. Thanks.

Btw, I noticed you already have tales 18 and 19 in english up for download. But where did you get them? EDIT: ah, I just figured out where you got them. Nice.

EDIT2:

I tried to save the images as .png and your right. It does make a difference.

This one is mine:
Image

This one is yours (just one page):
Image

And this one is mine resized to your format:
Image

I can still tell a little difference between yours and mine resized but I think it improved. Which means the big one has improved also. Thanks  .

My question--are the jpeg-esque artifacts on both images also present on the original site, or are they simply a result of the screen capture methods you've both used? It's a bit of a shame to know that these aren't available with 100% clean lines.

The sreenshots are exactly how the pictures look with the Shonen Jump browser.

Yep, both mine and rereboy's methods do not at any of the "speckling" effect, that is all on Shounen Jumps end, sadly. And rereboy, I know you weren't suggesting one way was better than another, your way is better in some senses, I just felt like pointing out the technicalities between the two. It's all good! :D

Zoro's name in some Scandinavian versions of One Piece is Lorenor Zoro, where they've kept the name close to the original.

Back on topic, are these online versions identical to the Viz version?

The translation is the Viz translation.

But things like sound effects and such are left untranslated.

The October 30th chapter is, unfortunately, a very good place to end the series, making it quite possible it will be the last.

Lorenor Zorro, actually.
According to one of the SBS corners translated by someone who really couldn't be arsed to check facts, he's apparantly named after one "Francis Lorenor".

Chapter 20 and 21 are up (and it would be nice to have them added to the Mediafire site :)).

The three first chapters of Bleach have just been added, too, for those interested in that.

It wasn't available at the time (which is why I mentioned the three first chapters of Bleach now being available).

But yeah, I can add the 5 newly uploaded ones.

Yeah, I hope Ssj_Rambo will add those to his great collection page! :)

Not that there's any need to hurry, but I just hope you haven't given up on updating your collection page in the future, those captures you do are REALLY important to me, you're the only way I can keep the colored pages! 8)

Looks like they caught onto the fact that the old chapters could still be accessed, everything not linked to on the site has been removed from the server.

(that means there IS a bit of a need to hurry getting chapter 20 and 21 up)

Maybe it was just taking up too much space, so they got rid of the old chapters.
