Who's to blame for these short development schedules? The graphics got me a little more excited. Don't know why, though.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

In simpler terms... Each new character model is counted as it's own character.

You don't replay a Dragon Ball game for the story mode, bring some friends round, it's all about the multi-player! Or if that isn't possible, the online still works well.

Wow, that was rather needless now wasn't it?
According to the press release, Japanese developer Spike has been listening to feedback from the ravenous Dragon Ball Z community in order to ensure that Raging Blast 2 is the best current-gen Dragon Ball title yet. “Pushing themselves harder than ever to deliver the most authentic and advanced experience, Spike has reworked everything from the camera to the controls to create an accessible game with more than enough tactical depth to satisfy even the most battle-hardened Dragon Ball fan”
What do you guys think about that statement? Link here.

Well for one, I don't know if I trust the source. However, if this is a real statement then it still sounds like fluff. Pushing yourself further requires that you spend more time and dedication on a game. To me, a year doesn't sound like enough to push yourself in the gaming world, to me it sounds like it's the same old bull shit that we've seen from Spike over and over again(only this time they are also working on a hand held). Here's to hoping they prove me wrong, I'd love to see that happen. Believe me I want them to produce the best product possible, but lets be real here.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

Coming out in Fall is not a bad thing since I think Spike has been working on the game for the past few months without anyone knowing. I believe this E3 we are going to see some gameplay videos maybe.
Well, yeah, of course they've been working on it the last few months. No one doubts that. But, er, that's the point. Releasing a new game every year limits the time they have to work on the game and improve it over the previous release. Games need to be finished several months in advance of their release date. This is to give time for QC, pressing, and distribution. If RB2 is released in, say, November, then its development will end no later than September.

Honestly, what should have happened is a rotation with Dimps. BL, RB, BL2, RB2, BL3, RB3. Give both companies two years to develop the next title in their series.

I'm really just awaiting the disappointment when all these "new" characters turn out to be just ones that should have been in RB1.

I hope there are mini games in Raging Blast 2!

Point is, if he really wanted too, he could play online for free
Also, coming from someone who owns both, there is really no difference between the PS3's and 360's online experience.
except for those whinny little 12 year old brats on Xbox live. But, that's the price you pay when you let everyone have a mic.

Seriously, Spike had the nerve to hold out characters like Ultimate Gohan(characters that could have definitely been in RB1) only to claim they have 20 "new" characters for RB2. With the exception of the two new SSJ3 forms we saw from RB1, we are probably going to end up with the exact list of characters from the first Tenkaichi game(you watch).

I think Blue's list over on the RB2 wish list thread was spot on. There will be no surprises what so ever, so don't get your hopes up friends.

Ya know, sence we all can pretty much guess whose going to be in the game I'm just gonna say that I would like more what-if characters, more show based and creative super moves, more interesting and fun customization items and hopefuly a system where you can have one character learn moves from another character(like Super DBZ). Oh yeah and more Tag Team moves both show based and creative.

Some examples of new items could be black aura, different color electricity, give scouters to the scouterless,or tails to the tailess(saiyans only of course), put the Majin symbol on anyone and whomever is equiped with the item will have a more villainous face even if they are already evil. I also think that it would be cool to have a item that when its equipped it will keep the characters hair its base color while transformed.

As for the tag moves its obvious that they were missing a lot of those in RB1, regardless if they were successful in the show or not like Triple Spirit Bomb and Buu Valley Ball. They were missing no brainers like Family Kamehameha and Accel Dance, but they could also be creative like have Goku do a team move with Freeza, or Tien and Yamcha, or Buu and Vegetto, or Vegetto and Gogeta, I mean cmon they have a hell of a lot to work with. Adding moves from the show is a good thing but creativity is also good like Mirai Gohans Finisher in BT3 same thing with Nail, King Cold,Slug(base) and Pan.

One last thing, they should have it where you can make any move a finishing move, like making a regular Kamehameha the finishing move would alter it and in turn make it a super Kamehameha, even with super moves that are rush attacks, the the finishing versions of super moves would be complete with impact cinematics and everything.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

I must be lucky, whenever I play Burst Limit online, I barely have to wait 20 seconds after opening a room. :|
College friends usually play with me though, so I don't go on the online too much, perhaps others would have a more valid opinion.

i would love to have a true Build-Up Mode.

Example:

You start with Goku, in normal stage, and you fight all the characters in the game. The enemies become more powerful until the last one.
Your power level at the beginning is let's say 3 millions
After 50 wins you unlock the SSj transformation, with your power level at 150 millions
After 100 wins, you will be able to transform into a SSj2...and so on until you reach 999 wins and the maximum level possible.
Same idea for the Vegeta, Gohan, Frieza, etc... Important to say, if you use a warrior with an ultimate level, i want to SEE the power of my warrior. So if i use a Goku SSj4 at max level, i want destroy a level 1 enemy with a single move.
Like in the PS1 game Dragon Ball:Final Bout, you can improve your punch, your kick, or some special move, like Kamehameha or Genkidama...

For example, in Final Bout, with SSj4 Goku at the maximum level (250, battle power 33894) i was able to defeat the strongest enemy with 1 single move.

100 wins for Super Saiyan 2 is a little much. Especially with the limitation of characters, working towards these transformations would get really old really fast. Interesting idea though.
