No idea dude, very disappointed. I didn't know a limited run would be just Scotland and Leeds.

Wait they're only showing it in Leeds & Scotland?!
Scotland one has passed but here is the Leeds one:

I was planning to go to the Leeds one, but the one friend who could come with me could can't make the day and I don't really wanna go on my own lol

Because they're not expanding the film to more theatres that means they're a shitty company and you'd rather import it? Uh..
It's shitty of them to promise a limited theatrical run and then only show it in 2 places, and by import I mean I'd import DVDs and Blu-Rays rather than buying from them.

They did say "limited" so you know that could've applied to being very few and happens to be the case, besides, importing when you've got a UK release seems pointless but it's your money anyway.

Importing has almost always been cheaper. By limited I was expecting 10 at the least, not 2! It can't be that Dragon Ball Z is that unpopular considering it sold enough to get Manga to sell original Dragon Ball.

Importing usually comes with custom tax so unless you order it via United Publications or a middleman from US you'll pay more for it than you should.
Anime in UK has gotten better since we have Anime Ltd. whom is far superior than Manga UK not only in terms of packaging but video quality too (they keep the original Japanese credits without using English text -- although if they do then it's due to the Japanaese company wants it that way). Kill la Kill UK's Collector's Edition looks awesome and is cheaper than Aniplex's release but I'm not a fan big enough to tank £40 for 9 episodes.
I guess I'll wait for the bare bones release called "Complete Series" (same discs but basic packaging).

Yeah, just re-reading from when this was announced makes me more disappointed.
Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods has also been licensed by the company for a DVD and Blu-Ray release on December 10th. The film will also enjoy a handful of theatrical screenings, including an appearance at this year's Scotland Loves Anime

MangaUK must have freakishly small hands. They'd make a fair amount of money if they put it in more cinemas. I really should not have got my hopes up anyway; I had a feeling something like this could happen. Oh well, they won't be getting my money anyway then.

Not only that but their lack of communication is disappointing too. Ah well guess it was the old too good to be true cliché.

Whatever info they put out there is more than likely to be finalised so if you were expecting more then you're not aware of how Manga UK really works like.
I just saw that Manga UK's going to be releasing
YGO series on DVD in UK and was excited because I thought they were bringing the uncut Japanese version (like FUNimation at one point had done it themselves) but turns out they stated clearly they're publishing the English dub-only release.
Manga UK's not all bad, their steelbook collection's awesome (especially when they decrease for £10 within a limited time) and I'm satisfied by what the Collector's Edition of
BoG contains (slipcover, standard BD case, 2 discs and 5 cards). It's more satisfying in terms of looks than the Japanese Limited Edition Blu-ray
BoG.

I didn't expect much at all in terms of extras and whatnot for the Collectors Edition. In truth I went for it because it's got a slipcover. I have a strong liking for slipcovers. Bit weird but it's true!
It looks like hopes of Battle of Gods in UK Cinema are fading rapidly, too.

Manga UK has begun to promote Battle of Gods due to its release date just being a week away now.
While they were supposedly going to reveal that there'd be more content for the Collector's Edition it seems they were lying as what we know so far it's finalised (Slipcover + 2 Discs 1xBD/1xDVD + 5 cards).
I am a little disappointed that they swapped the logo to FUNimation's custom logo so that's a star rating lost already.

A week away? Wow that was fast. Can't wait! Wonder if Base.com ships things early.

Tell me 'bout it. I'm still on the expectation of Nintendo goin' back on their word and make the NGC Adapter compatible with all Wii and Wii U games.

Couldn't even get the name right.
That's one of the things I'd have preferred FUNimation to have had renamed it to
Battle of the Gods or
The Battle of Gods than its original title since (it'd also make up for creating their own logo).

I wouldn't really call that a Collector's Edition considering that it just has some cards. I like the spine and no red banner on the top though!

You are forgetting that there is also an exclusive DVD disc that contains extra's. To make matters worse the stripped the extra's away from the regular blu-ray and to make it even worse it is DVD only on this CE, like what is the point, why not make the collectors edition the regular blu-ray?

Yeah, they are pretty bare bones but it's still better than their standard Blu-ray because it comes with a slipcover.
The
Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Collector's Edition is pretty much identical to
Battle of Gods Collector's Edition.
By the way,
Evangelion 3.0+1.0 is the real title of the last
Eva rebuild film and disregard that this image uses the original
Battle of Gods as Manga UK has confirmed they're using FUNimation's custom
Battle of Gods logo.
