Official Goku Black Thread: Your thoughts before June 12th!

I might as well throw in my 2 cents.

Here are a couple of theories me and a friend had.

1. Goku Black is a Cyborg\Android created by Dr. Gero. Somehow, someway.

2. Not a Cyborg\Android but still somehow created by Dr. Gero.

3. General Black from Dragon Ball. Maybe he gained a new body or Potara fused with Future Goku. Then destroyed the other half of the ear ring.

4. A monster from Goku's past that is assuming his likeness to ruin his reputation. Perhaps that giant Bear?

5. A actual "evil" Goku. Whether its Future Goku or an alternate Universe Goku is irrelevant.

6. Demigra.

7. A Tuffle who has come to Earth to kill the "remaining Saiyan."

8. A villian with absolutely no connection to DB lore or its past that just so happens to look like Son Goku. Him looking like Goku is basically his selling point.

I look forward to see which, if any of our theories proves correct.

I'm still going to bet the Green Kaioshin will be the one that creates Black. It's possible that in Future Trunks timeline that he meets Goku in the After Life and uses a evil power to control him and make him a lot stronger. After the Goku Black arc is over, I think they will try to find the Green Kaioshin in Goku's timeline and kill him before he can do anything.

I think it's looking less and less like Goten, especially if I'm right about Black being inspired by Xicor. For now my theory is that Black was created by the Green Kaioshin, like you said, but from Goku's Dna. (Just like Xicor) I also agree after Black is killed, they'll go on a search for the Green Kaioshin but to find out he was from one of the destroyed universes, who sent Black to search every timeline of every universes to find what made the Omni-Lord upset and to destroy it, thus creating a new timeline of where his Universe didn't get destroyed. The reason Black would be targeting Sayians, is because he suspects that a Saiyan upset the Omni-Lord (They were evil after all) which would explain the "Die Sayajin". So it'd turn out the Green Kaioshin wasn't necessary evil, but he was trying to only restore his universe. I think it'd be funny if something that Goku done in the past was what pissed the Omni-Lord off such as defeating Boo, that could be the reason the Green Kaioshin created him to look like Goku too.

He did say Toyotaro could help, and well Toyotaro is Toyble. If he let him help I wouldn't doubt there could be inspiration from his design/backstory. They both look like or possibly have DNA of Goku, and are related somehow someway to a Kaioshin. That's already two hints and that was in one episode. It's possible but who knows, might be something entirely different. Also if both Toei and Funimation had to deny rumors of AF and it got THAT big, I wouldn't be surprised if Toriyama at least heard about it.

Though Xicor's backstory was poorly written, he was the single most interesting thing to come out of DBAF. I wouldn't doubt that Black was written to be the revised version of Xicor.

I believe that Kaioshin shown in the opening does have some affiliation with Black; whether he's Black's creator or Black himself.
