Kanzenshuu Hunger Games: The Reckoning: CONCLUSION: Now with Powah Levuls!
Re: Kanzenshuu Hunger Games: The Reckoning
He's not lacking in eagerness! Fate played a cruel hand against his blood-lust. He'll continue to hunt, & even ally, to discover victims. Unfortunately for him, opportunity has skipped knocking his door everyday.

So, due to the Feast tonight, I'll go ahead and post the normal nighttime round a bit early

Huh. Well this escalated quickly. Abed seems to have a fetish for strangling people with ropes, Zephyr avenged me by killing the asshole, and Kunzait's hands remain unblooded.

ABED is killing the people who oppose him the most, Cipher you're next.
Re: Kanzenshuu Hunger Games: The Reckoning
What a bloodbath. I worked with three of the allies I'd gained to kill dbzfan7 before he could take another life, then left to have my wounds tended by another ally while AB"The Strangler"ED remained with Doctor. Obviously I shouldn't have left them alone.
Meanwhile, three bloodthirsty members took out the two most pacifist players and ABED's partner on the Spook Crew, leaving him truly alone. Who knows what he'll do now?

Of course it took 4 people to kill me. I am just that much of a beast.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Damn. I helped kill RandomGuy96, after he helped nurse my wounds and everything. Well, I guess no alliances last forever in the arena. He probably said something needlessly derogatory about Yamucha, and, well, that's what my murder bear is for.

If that was the case, he would have killed me a long time ago!Doctor wrote:ABED is killing the people who oppose him the most, Cipher you're next.

Damn. Guess I'll have to be more violent next time. Ah well, top 10 still isn't so bad.
You have proven your disloyalty here, just like Yamcha did when he cheated on Bulma in that very well-written story arc.Gaffer Tape wrote:Damn. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.
Re: Kanzenshuu Hunger Games: The Reckoning
Lot of big threats left on the field:
AB"The Strangled"ED: I spared his life on day one. But will that be enough? Debts of gratitude weaken in the final seven.
Zephyr and rereboy: Insatiable bloodlust, even if they have to use their bare hands
Gaffer Tape: Who uses his bear hands
Kunzait_83: ????
JulieYBM: Just so I don't jinx myself by not mentioning him.
I'll have to keep my wits about me.

Re: Kanzenshuu Hunger Games: The Reckoning
Okay, if we all converge tonight, I think I've found my best bet. Kunzait_83 will want to go after Jacob, due to the laws of horror movie universes. ABED will want to go after Zephyr, rereboy and Gaffer Tape as vengeance for DBZAOTA482. Which may allow me to grab a weapon and escape the fray to get a better position for later. The only question is whether Gaffer Tape's bear will be showing up.
It could also become a 3 vs. 3 stand-off between me, ABED, and Jacob, and Zephyr, rereboy, and Gaffer, if alliances seem stable. Though I've worked with rereboy before too, and would rather avoid group confrontations in a tight spot.

And now...the moment you've all been waiting for....I present to you.....THE FEAST

Well. That happened.
In an amazing upset, it would seem that our two most prolific killers have themselves departed for the Elysian Fields.

Re: Kanzenshuu Hunger Games: The Reckoning
Having spared ABED's life only to watch him go on to kill, and seeing the more peaceful players ganged up on and cut down, Cipher's innocence had finally dissipated. When he saw the most notorious murderer still in the game near his stocks, he knew what he had to do; taking advantage of rereboy temporarily letting his guard down due to their previous pseudo-alliance he in one swift move ended rereboy's regin of terror, ignoring his pleas as he tackled him down the hill and brought the stone down on his head.

I hope after all that risk and the psychological damage of bloodying our hands that my murder bear and I got some sweet supplies.
