Yeah, I'll have it up in an hour or 2 for everyone to watch in disgust. :P

Seriously, their quality checker deserves a medal for this...assuming they even had a quality checker :P

FUNimation = Bringing us comedy gold since 1999.

I think I'll post the foaming at the mouth Nappa clip along with another gem later on. I've only watched 1 disc in it's entirety and a whole bunch of random eps, so let me know of anymore flaws.

Damn, I can't wait to see what other quality gems we get from this set. This is getting to be fucking ridiculous.

*barfs*

This is getting a little too crazy. I mean, I could try to accept the peppers and wrong sky colors, but it looks like someone drew Nappa with a pencil, colored him in with a marker, then tried to erase the pencil with their eyes closed. I mean, I could have gotten an entire R2 DVD with the money I spend on this set!

Well, actually I only spent about 25 bucks on this. Damn expensive R2's! :x

I now present with great regret.....

Nappa Foaming at the Mouth - If you look at his eyes closely, it looks like his eyes are watering in joy!

Raditz kicks Goku so hard that the Japanese film master breaks - It goes REALLY fast, but it's still noticeable. Put the clip into something like virtualdub and look at it one frame at a time. You'll notice that the actual film broke in 2 and it looks pretty nasty...

Well, those are gonna be the final clips for now. Enjoy!... or not..

I'm sorry I'm not blind? Seriously guys, this is ridiculous. I didn't watch the show frame-by-frame and I'm pretty damned certain no one else did.

What did happen? I noticed weird glitches and did a freeze frame, backed up and saw the damage. It was all visible in motion though, unless you're blind (and I don't have supervision FYI, I wear contacts to maintain 20/20). Call it the Tyler Durden effect :P

Jeez, don't hate us because we can see things that anyone else can. Hell, my girlfriend pointed out just as much crap as everyone else has, and she actually needs glasses.

To be honest, if I weren't looking I would never have noticed, except for at the end [of the first clip] maybe, when Nappa turns his face and suddenly the lines fill in. But imagining this in actual 1080p is rather nightmarish.

I barely noticed this, mainly because it was only in a recap and not in the actual episode of the scene. I did have to rewind it a couple times to make sure it wasn't my DVD player or TV being screwy. Kinda an odd glitch, though considering FUNi's masters aren't exactly first class, they tend to get a few ribs broken like the third class quirks they have.

Holy crap, I just connected Raditz and Goku's relationship with the quality. XD

The more clips I watch the more the colors suck from FUNi's so called "remastered" garbage.

You're right; that was pretty accidentally clever.

Ouch! Your right. Its my opinion they did widescreen release so they'd go thru the initial process once to get DVDs out, then go HD with it later. With these types of mistakes, its certainly a "No" to any HD version of it all.

Dragonball, of course! Green skies have been around since ever.
Anyways, they can remaster that later

Oh well, okay then, never mind.
I just noticed and thought it was relevant somehow to green
