While I don't have the new widescreen release, the posted pictures are actually the nicest ones we've seen. However, there is no need to bring up DragonBox to make some sections of the previous boxsets look bad, you could compare them to the old FUNI singles and still make that happen. We only bring it up because its the highest standard of consistent quality for the entire series available.
The best thing about the posted / comparing of the screenshots is mainly to hash-out accurate information about ALL products and let each of us decide what to do now (on our own).
For instance, based on the above shots, I'm considering grabbing the widescreen release is I catch it on a good sale (anybody want to recommend a good site for dirt cheap to me?)
