Mine? I ripped it Monday night, but I got busy on Tuesday. I'll encode it tonight and hit you up on AIM if you're around.

Huh? My Movies DBox looks fucking fantastic no matter what display device is used. My CRT monitor, my LCD monitor, and my CRT TV all look fantastic - if anything, the picture looks better as the resolution increases.

The only thing a new LCD TV would do would force higher resolutions and wouldn't bleed colours - both of which make the DBox look better.
The movies are a different case. They were encoded differently. I don't know the details, but I'm pretty sure this was explained on one of the Podcasts or in a forum post somewhere...

Not really. The only difference is the film stock the movies originated from (35mm) vs the series (16mm). Other than that, I explained the reason why it might look bad a couple of posts back. That's completely dependent on a person's setup, however.

Can someone make a clip of that in motion? As scary as it is to see that...

I think it's episode 101. I'm pretty sure I saw that image subtitled once, with the text "I... want to fight Freeza!", which was what Goku told Kaio-sama before everyone on Namek were teleported back to earth, and looking at a list of episodes, it seems as though that happened in episode 101. It definitely can't be episode 95, as that was the one where Goku transformed for the first time.

I could, but do you REALLY want to see it? Somehow, I don't think so...

I can still do it though if you guys want.

Oh, c'mon. It looks really crappy freeze-framed like that, but in motion it's not all that bad. Sure, it's no Dragon Box footage (what is? ), but in motion only videophobes notice stuff like that.
