Yeah, my only problem here is that the tone here is WWAAAYYY too happy and light hearted for what just happened. Then again, this could've possibly happened after Whis told Trunks and Mai the solution to returning back to their world, or at least something resembling their original world before Zamasu wreaked havoc.

You can't really compare the 2, the anime looks bad on a regular basis while the manga rarely looks bad, especially when it matters.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.
