Was the inclusion of Pilaf Gang in the movie really well-received in Japan? I know at least on pixiv they didn't show up that often in the post-BOG fanart. There was some Trunks/Mai art, and a few of Pilaf Gang, but it didn't strike me as clamored for enough to get more scenes in this new cut ahead of the more popular DB characters.

My fear is Pilaf Gang get a disproportionately large chunk of that time while others who barely had roles only get a few lines.
I want more Beerus, Whis, Kuririn, Piccolo, 18, Gohan, Mr. Satan, etc way more than Pilaf Gang. (And I liked Pilaf Gang in the movie!)

About the details, they could at least add the lightning effect to Vegeta ssj2 and Goku ssj3 transformation. Compared to the rest is a easy task.

Indeed, but if Master Roshi's comment is anything to go by, he would gone beyond SS3 ? (for a minute). "He's exceeded Goku", and this movie takes place after the Buu saga

Few weeks. Apparently this movie isn't priority whatsoever, considering no actual team has even subbed the initial movie.

It only makes sense for Vegeta to be a Super Saiyan 2 against Beerus though.

I'm not so sure that sense really applies in this case, given that apparently, through rage alone, Vegeta is supposedly able to surpass the power of a Super Saiyan 3.

I don't think he has ever met him before, he just knows who he is because he's a dragon god, and is supposed to know everything, like how he knew about Super Saiyajin God.

This was my thought, as well. I don't think it's so much that Shen Long has personally met Beerus, I think he just knows of him. He knows what he's capable of (and probably that he has a really short temper.) I mean, Shen Long was killed by Piccolo Daimao; he's probably worried because at the slightest annoyance, Beerus could blow him away with the flick of a finger.

I don't think is will take more than 2-3 days to have an English subtitle. I'm also sure that tomorrow afternoon(central European time) a ripped version of it will available to download.

It'll be fast subbed within two days at most, with the more polished translations coming in dribs-and-drabs after that.

I think the fact that the movie itself has already been subtitled for the most part, save for the new scenes, will cut the timescale down significantly,

Since they are lazy do add a lighting effect (like they were in Buu Saga after Goku turning ssj3 for the first time) I assume he was.
Just like when he fought Kid Buu. Doesn't make sense to me that he got beaten without using his full power.

Seing as how a few sparks if lighting are miniscule in comparison to all the other animation produced by the various teams, it's definitely not laziness.
