Well, I don't dislike or hate Vegeta. He is a cool character. But still, he is a moron in some instances.
As you see I have a Gohan avatar. I am a Gohan fan.
But I still think that he is an idiot for not training those 7 years and not for taking care of Cell in the first place.
I prefer to be more "balanced" into my...disliking. :P

However I think we have all gotten the point and can move on before this thread get's locked or something. Remember folks, this is a story separate from GT's continuity and so everything we learned from that series does not apply. Which obviously makes it much more enjoyable!
Yes, I think that it's about time to go back to the topic.

As DNA has said, Bojack will break the neck of Pan.
I just hope that she will put up a great fight until then.
This fight reminds me of Kuririn vs. Piccolo Jr., when Kuririn was underestimated, and managed to punch Piccolo in the face, and Piccolo realized that Kuririn was a threat.
But what I want to see is what comes after the fight. I want to see the reactions of her family, how Salagir et. al. manages their emotions and personality.
It would be a twist if she stayed dead, making the athmosphere more pressurized.
No more time for Daizex. Goodbye folks!

Where did I use “hate” in my recent post? The reason that I dislike Pan’s character is because she is the daughter of the second member of the “Idiot Trio”. I like GT Pan because it allowed everyone to actually dislike a member of the Son family. I am not shoving anything down people throats I have an opinion like everyone else. I am sorry I cannot sit and complain about something more entertaining. Like how Funimation sucks ass for the millionth time or how there is grain in a millisecond of film in my Funi DVDs because they are not Dragonbox footage.
Scarz wrote:...Why stop there? Since DBM is clearly pissing off the fans (I believe on purpose) there should be a fourth wall incident where Pans gives the readers the middle finger after her victory.

Just saying.
At end of the day, Pan will still suck and the author’s still pulled something out of their collective asses.
I don't know why anybody bothers replying to you.
Seconded. Ugh.

If Pan can go Super Saiyan, I can only imagine what other nifty tricks the rest of the crew has picked up.

Tenshinhan with Shin-Kaioken, anyone?

Do want.

Edit: Speaking of kaioken, I re-read some of the Namek chapters recently and noticed that when Goku showed kaioken to Ginyu, he then said something like, "it's even more powerful when I use it in bursts." Does this imply that he could actually sustain the lower end kaiokens for longer at that point, like some fans believe? Maybe it's a mistranslation. I should start a thread about it.

It just seems a bit hypocritical to me, since the Professor is often complaining that people bash Vegeta 'for no reason'.

I also would love to see that. He did train with Kaio, so I see no reason that he couldn't have stayed long enough to learn the basics of the technique and then build upon them.

I always thought that seemed sort of intuitive. It's like running. You can run faster for a short time or you can run slowly for a long time.

You would think Tenshinhan would be at this tournament, if not as a combatant then as a spectator with the rest of our heroes. :? Either he was kept out of the loop or decided to opt out to train more on Earth. Either way, it kind of sucks. Anyway, lookin forward to the upcoming page tomorrow. Place yer bets!

Well, Tenshinhan had separated from the gang years ago, so I doubt that they could find him.
Who knows, maybe he even was dead at that point!
Also looking forward to the new page. Pan slaughter I guess.

I would just like to clarify that I do not hate Pan. What I hate is:

-overpowered single-digit age kids
-child Super Saiyans
-said kids outperforming guys who've fought their entire lives

That Pan fulfills these requirements is independent of her being Pan.

And no, I don't buy the 'she trained with Vegetto' excuse, because how in the fuck would four-year-old Pan be able to withstand even one-ten-billionth of Vegetto's power. You can't train with somebody if they can flay you to the bone with a glance.

That's fair enough. I found Trunks and Goten being Super Saiyajin a bit weird myself, after seeing how much work it took everyone else to get that far. We all understand the reasons (both in and out of universe) of course, but still...

Still, children outperforming the last generation has been a staple of Dragon Ball since the very beginning. Goku and Kuririn had almost surpassed Muten Roshi when they were pre-teens, and he was pretty much a legend.

By the way, isn't this Pan 14? Not that it makes a big difference.

Bussani: You can't judge it by the normal laws, that are working in series. Everyone is powered up as hell in Buu saga, and if there will be two half-breed Saiyan kids, with power as Goku at the start of the series, it won't be interesting, so even if it is against the law or typical fashion, they must be Super-saiyains to get the same importance as other of the characters.

This Pan is 14.

Vegetto wouldn't be a very powerful guy if he didn't have perfect control of his power, now would he?

This Pan is 14 and, unless I am wrong, Gohan turned SS2 around that age or earlier.

So, I don`t think that she`s overpowered. Especially for someone who has Vegetto to train with.

Now this would be believable and I would love to see it take place. :) If anyone deserves a major power up it is Tenshinhan. I always saw him as a human Saiyan, in the sense that he has this harsh training regimen and he strives to get stronger and stronger.
The Saiyans are very much like the Klingons and Jem'Hadar.

And yet he as a SSJ2 :o

I would love to see a Tenshinhan from another universe do a Shin-Kaioken btw. It would be awesome.
(I didn`t say Tenshinhan from our universe because I really think that if he didn`t create that technique until the buu saga, he isn`t able to. He had many years to do so and never did. Not even regular kaioken)

Yeah, you'd think the child of a guy who could do that would at least be able to become a Super Saiyan.
