Woah future trunks is coming back damn I can't believe it I'm happy and scared at the same time, happy because my 2nd favorite character of the series is returning scared because toei/toriyama screwed characters in the past they better not screw future trunks and I hope kid trunks & goten get some development but it seems unlikely!!!!

I don't know, this presents a possibility for Present Trunks to be pushed into the spotlight. Goten would probably benefit from it collaterally.

My thought with the fanfiction tropes is that Dragon Ball's been on break for so long that so many different story ideas have built up among the fandom in the meanwhile that it's possible that when the series was woken back up again that they would think of some similar ideas either by on their own or by osmosis. Stuff like ssjblue bothered me more than the idea of "evil Gokû".

"Gokû Black" makes me think of Chibi Usa's "Black Lady" form from Sailor Moon; so I think it's either an evil Gokû from another timeline or something happens to the regular Gokû, but more likely the former.

Any type of evil Goku would just be a rehash of Turles from Movie 3. I don't want to see that again.

To me, Tullece was just Radditz in Goku's body with Saiyan Armor. They both survive when Freeza blew up Planet Vegeta, both make their way toward Earth to check up on Goku, both want to wipe out all of the life on Earth. Both even ask Goku to join him and Goku refuse. Unless Toriyama surprises me with a Evil Goku, I still hate the idea.

Wow I was so hyped but this kind of ruins it. Goku black is literally the most stupid name in the series. If he's evil i hope they give us an interesting reason. I'll watch and see but I'm highly dissapointed in the thought of an evil goku

I bet anything it's going to be an evil clone ripped from Goku's DNA, a throwback to Toyotaro's AF. We've got multiple universes and future timeline's to play with, looks like the series isn't ending as soon as everyone thought.

I'm not interested in Shiro Goku, at all.

If he's his own character and not the present Goku possessed by evil, then I pray that we'll get a good explanation on why he's such a threat. How strong is he? Is he any stronger than the present Goku and Vegeta, along with Beerus and Whis? Questions that need answers.

Okay, pretty excited for this, can't wait. I wonder if this means the gods will actually be fighting this time? Don't know how I feel about Goku Black, need more information on him, but I hope it won't just be some evil version of Goku. And I wonder what this would have to do with another universe.
I wonder what reason Trunks had for visiting the past too. They're timelines are different, so I what could he possibly need to come to the past for?
And hopefully this arc will take a more serious tone, this could really use it after all the gags and lighthearted stuff. Especially since it involves Future Trunks and possibly the gods.

Yep sounds like Evil Goku from Herms translation. Lame. We already had Turles to show us what Goku would be like if he were evil. He was Evil Goku without being called that. My prediction is Future Trunks is gonna bury the present one and badly. No predictions for Goku Black yet. Now to wait for the White Knights.
