Just look at all the video games with Bardock in them. Pretty much half the characters in them mistake Bardock for Goku all the time.

Also, Toriyama had toyed with Bardock in the Minus story, so I wouldn't count out the idea of bringing him in Super.

Yea that's pretty much why I thought that, because Time Breaker Bardock is also a very popular character in Japan especially in Heroes. If the character was suggested to be used to Toriyama it would all make sense. I think the "Black" part would come from Towa/Mira's black magic controlling him or something. (Also in Herm's tweet, something was suggested to Toriyama and he came up with a plot)

If this Goku "Black" is really strong, then Trunks is definitely very strong for him to survive, or at least just luckily managed to escape.

Well, regarding Shiro Goku, one thing is for sure is that we definitely know that he isn't from Trunks' timeline since Goku is dead.

While not canon Tarble managed to survive/escape Abo and Cado. They are easily dozens of times stronger than him. I'm pretty sure there are more examples but that's the one at the top of my head.

I'm going more based on how Toei invented additional androids for Movie 7. If he's coming specifically from Future Trunks' timeline I thought maybe it's supposed to tie to that.

The other ideas I had were more based on the general "well he could originate anywhere", but I'm like if they're involving Trunks maybe he's a Gero creation.

I don't know, this presents a possibility for Present Trunks to be pushed into the spotlight. Goten would probably benefit from it collaterally.

I hope so man but I wouldn't see how as they could do it, but it's too early to tell at this point

That's if you place Tarble at a very low level.The gang called his ki huge.Abo and Kado wouldn't bother chasing a guy who is literally more than 100x weaker than them.I put Tarble above Ginyu, as weird as that is.

Given what we know about the upcoming episodes with the Copy-Sautean and the Choujinsui, I think it's going to be more than mere coincidence that we have dealings with an alien capable of copying Vegeta perfectly, and then we just happen to get an "evil Goku" of sorts appearing in Trunks' timeline.

The timing just seems a bit too convenient to be totally coincidental, and I wouldn't be surprised if there's some connection between the Copy-Sautean and "Goku Black".

I use the term "Shiro" to title the characters who are the dark opposites of the actual character themselves. Or, in a sense, when a character is corrupted by evil.

Maybe a robot version of Goku. He uses a disguise to fool everyone that he is Goku when he really isn't. Mecha Goku also has finger missiles too .
