Well, regarding Shiro Goku, one thing is for sure is that we definitely know that he isn't from Trunks' timeline since Goku is dead.

Is there a reason for calling him "shiro". The character literally uses the katakana for the English word "black", aka Gokuu Burakku / ゴクウブラック.

I use the term "Shiro" to title the characters who are the dark opposites of the actual character themselves. Or, in a sense, when a character is corrupted by evil.

You know "shiro" means "white", right?

Since Goku Black's name is all in katakana I'm doubting he's the regular Goku. He probably isn't even human (dare I say artificial...?).

Given what we know about the upcoming episodes with the Copy-Sautean and the Choujinsui, I think it's going to be more than mere coincidence that we have dealings with an alien capable of copying Vegeta perfectly, and then we just happen to get an "evil Goku" of sorts appearing in Trunks' timeline.

The timing just seems a bit too convenient to be totally coincidental, and I wouldn't be surprised if there's some connection between the Copy-Sautean and "Goku Black".

Maybe it's the same thing but from Trunks's timeline and it some how took Goku's shape and became incredibly powerful.

It's interesting that Toriyama this time is avoiding his "simple and fun story" comments, warning about time-changing aspects that may get confusing. So it sounds like there's a plot here that will go beyond a tired "evil Goku" thing.

Btw, with this arc starting on episode 47, and the promised tournament likely to happen in the future, it's safe to assume we definitely won't see Super ending this year. We're in for a long run.

Yeah, his previous comment was that he hoped it would be simple enough for kids to understand, but wasn't so sure. Sounds like it will be more a little more serious and complex than previous arcs.

Maybe a robot version of Goku. He uses a disguise to fool everyone that he is Goku when he really isn't. Mecha Goku also has finger missiles too .

I heard this from Geekdom, then came straight here. I always liked Future Trunks. I'm pretty excited. "Goku Black" sounds generic, but I'm not going to comment further as we don't have much info. Funny how this news comes on a May 9th. That day has importance in the series.

Lol, i did think of that, too. I bet he didn't remember what a pain time travels and such can be until it started finding its way into the plot again.

The fact it's gonna tie in with other universes will probably make it even more confusing this time. No doubt he needed some help there (he even says he didn't see the final script yet).

What if Goku Black is really Time Breaker Goku?

Since Bardock looks almost exactly like Goku, it could be time breaker Bardock.

Well if the white hair villain ends up being Mira, what if Towa and Mira finds way to control Goku and gives him a villainous mode form?

It depends how old is he but at best? SSJ2 tier.

- No RoSaT.
- No one to train with.
- Spent time rebuilding the Earth.

It's possible that Future Trunks ends up going SSj Blue in his timeline. I bet we will find out that Trunks in his timeline meets Whis and Beerus that allows him to become stronger.

I'm not very skilled when it comes to the Dragon World Age periods, but Future Trunks should be in his late 20s at this point, correct? I know he was an adult when he debut originally.

Like the other guy said the previous page, i hope Vegeta will be the one who will defeat this Goku "Black". That being said, i hope he won't be the main villain of the arc.
