I don't think so. He sounded genuinely impressed that Roshi's power went above his master's power.

As for Tien Vs Piccolo, I gotta go with Piccolo there.

Jheese, being much stronger than all of them, easily demolishes the opposition.
Heh, guess Vegeta did serve some purpose to the Z Fighters then.

Also, why would we, the audience, be given this information if there wasn't anything to suggest that it wasn't true?

I think Roshi would win, without having to use his full power, as Tenshinhan himself stated that he was stronger than Tsuru-sennin.

Even if Roshi is substantially stronger (a 139 to a 120, right?) Tsuru-sennin does know the most powerful Earthling technique. Still I don't think it would work against Roshi, since the Kikoho is kinda useless unless used from above. Plus it's probably that Tsuru-sennin is out of shape like Roshi was... unless Roshi is out of shape too.

Wouldn't the most powerful earthling technique be the Kienzan?
Oh, you think the Grand Tour is your ally, you merely stepped into the Grand Tour. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see the Super until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!

The Kienzan isn't about power.

But it's easily the most useful.

Oh yeah, it was useful for a villain to cut the tail of an Oozaru, only to be crashed by him, and for #18 to win 2 cheating boys in a stupid tournament...

I'm pretty sure Team Four Star must have compiled a complete list by now

It also stopped Freeza from finishing off Gohan, and Super Boo from destroying the planet.

I have another Saiyan arc match-up. Raditz vs. Chaozu.

While I think that Raditz is much stronger than Chaozu, as we see in his battle with Goku and Piccolo, he's cocky enough to drop his guard against opponents far weaker than him. So Chaozu could take advantage of this, paralyze him and keep kicking him until he's dead.

If it's pre-Kami training, Raditz stomps. If it's after, Raditz probably wins because come on, it's Chaozu.

Not sure how the Spice Boys Vs Earthlings would go. The Earthlings have an extra warrior, but I think the Spice Boys are stronger than the majority of them, except maybe Tien. I think he would put up the best fight and possibly take one of them down. I think once the others are down, Tien would be in trouble.

As for the Raditz Vs Chaozu, I think Raditz would win. I could even see Chaozu's powers being rendered useless here. He'd need to go for Raditz's tail or simply blow himself up here.

That logic doesn't exactly work when you're dealing with Raditz.

Whenever I see people from New Zealand posting here, all I can think of is that you must have internalized that complicated situation in your head before posting.

Also, it totally does. Name one time Chaozu did anything decent?

How about Broly vs Cell

This one goes to Cell IMO. The reason is that Cell fought(or seemed) to fight much more powerful Z-Senshi/Warriors then Broly. This is due to Gohan being weaker then Goku in said Movie 8. Remember SSJ Gohan Cell games> SSJ Goku Cell Games but the movie has their powers in reverse and remember affecting the strongest Z-Fighters power affects the rest of the cast as well. Also in the Cell Games Trunks was amazed at Gohan/Goku's powers but nobody gave 2 shits about them in Movie 8. Also SSJ Goku beat Broly by absorbing scraps of the BASE Saiyans(Piccolo's too weak to be counted) and still managed to put Broly in a coma for 7 years. It took a Fully powered SSJ2 with the help of Vegeta's Big Bang Attack to barely beat Super Perfect Cell who was of guard as well. What do you say? Who's stronger?
Has anyone seen my arm? You can't miss it, it's GREEEEENNNN!! HAHAHHAHAHA!! Funi dub Raditz

Depends on which movie you go by,

Perfect Cell > Movie 8 Broly
Super Perfect Cell > Movie 10 Broly

Perfect Cell at full power would decimate Broly, Goku and Gohan. Only SSJ2 Gohan at the time would be enough to stop him. In the Movie 10, Broly's seen to be stronger than that pansy ass Adult SSJ2 Gohan. Adult SSJ2 Gohan is far weaker than Super Perfect Cell. I mean the boost he got from the failed-suicide was astronomical, any power gap Broly could have gained in space wouldn't compare to SPC by any means.
