The picture and a few tweets are gone from Schemmel's twitter...I guess something wasn't supposed to be said.

Schemmel probably picked up the phone from a FUNi rep who heard that Kanzenshuu have figured out that FUNi is just going off a bootleg.

I've come to the conclusion no matter what they say, they won't get in much trouble. Sabat runs the dubbing for the most part and they probably can't afford to lose Schemmel as Goku (if solely for the reason of the backlash that would happen). Every time something's been leaked, it seems like all they do is not acknowlesge it after it's all said and done. We don't know what goes on behind the scenes. But, everytime they say something they weren't supposed to, it seems like they're never in (actual) trouble for it. At least based on the past few times they said something and had to 'take it back'.

Please tell me someone saved the photos of Schemmel holding a burger to Piccolo's and Goku's mouths.

Hey my tweet surfaced some news! Haha. Cool stuff though.
Wait...Both? How would that work? the extended version would be apart of some super duper awesome collection? :P :)

This is awesome news! Although, the idea that "both" are being recorded is a little bit of a disappointment, because it means that the theatrical release will probably be the shorter version. I think the extended cut is way better than the original, and I bet I can get some of my non-DB hardcore fan friends to join me in seeing this in a theater, but probably not again on DVD.

If it will a realise on Blu-Ray/DVD of the Extended Cut, that's a bad luck for Japanese fans who bought the theatrical version on disks. But I guess the disk realises will be bilingual or even 3 languages like Japenese, English and Spanish.
English is not my first language!
I'm still waiting for Dragon Ball in Super...

Well in fairness if they recorded for the extended edition they would also have all the dialogue for the regular version... except for one line by Whis that was removed in the extended cut due to no longer making sense in the context of the extended scene.

Anyway, I got Battle of Gods on BluRay while I was in Japan, but let me say... if FUNi does indeed release the extended cut, I am definitely buying it again.

Right. I just mean that the implication is that they'll probably be playing the shorter version in theaters, and if I can drag a few of my friends who aren't DB fanatics to see this, it's more likely to be when it's a "theatrical event" rather than at home on DVD, and I'd like to show them the best version possible!

I bought it and don't really care. I make a fetish of things in their original format, so I'm very happy with having the original theatrical version.

Same here. And on top of that, Japan and America share the same BD region...so it's not like it couldn't be imported (Possibly at a cheaper price, too).

Looks like Sean made a mistake and wasn't supposed to tweet that!

Great news though. The wait is definitely going to be worth it! He says the voice actor for Beerus is "awesome" too.

That's odd. I would've thought Ian Sinclair was reprising his role from Battle of Z. Or maybe he was a stand in before they got somebody else?

Ian Sinclair was Whis, Beerus was Jason Douglas. Either way though, it could just be that Sean didn't really get to hear much of his work for Beerus in the game recording?

He probably didn't hear much of anything. There weren't thay many lines for Beerus in BoZ. Plus with all the NDAs in effect, even if it is Jason Douglas. He can't say anything until FUNimation releases a cast list themselves/confirms themselves.

True, true. I basically just mean that Sean's comments on their own didn't fully suggest that it was no longer Jason Douglas for the role.

 Oops, my bad. I haven't played any Dragon Ball games yet, so I'm not as familiar with them.

It's cool, no biggie. They're both names that are new to Dragon Ball in general, so they'd be easy to mix up at first. ^_^

That said, I'm still not really sure what to think of Douglas as Beerus, if it is true. He's a great actor and I've loved him in everything else...but it's kind of hard to imagine him for Beerus. Ian Sinclair as Whis, I can see, though.

Jason Douglas did voice King Cold in Kai, though.

I'm really hyped about this, actually. Also, the fact that we're getting both versions is awesome. Funimation knows what the fans want. :D I do wonder how they're going to distribute the two versions. Honestly, the way Toei distributed the two versions is pretty whack and doesn't make a bit of sense.
