I've made a negative judgement of the panels shown. As I've repeatedly stated. I've seen the panels. And I've said those panels are boring to me. That's it. I have not made a judgement of the entire fight, just what's been shown.
They have nothing generic about them. It's manga hate, but you could at least make it less obvious.
So, I'm not giving it a chance because I have an opinion you disagree with?
I disagree, sure, but you are still judging it over two panels. Gimme a break.
I judge two panels over two panels. That's it. I judge what has been presented as what has been presented. Read what I post, as I've said this around five times now; I am not judging the entire fight over this. There is no simpler way to put it, at this point you're just putting words into my mouth.
Tell me more, you usually like the manga, right?
I'm usually okay with the manga, with the Zamasu arc being a huge let down. But I usually love the fights in the manga.
Two panels, about a totally unseen fight.
Ye, and I judged them as such. What about this is so hard to understand? I'm not speaking in another language.
And the four anime scans? How boring they look. My godness.
The point here? I'm sorry, have I ever brought up the anime scans as looking particularly good? Or is this just you making bullshit assumptions about me because I didn't have the same opinion as you?

Same here. His universe's mortal level is so low in the totem pole, but somehow he's the strongest GoD?

I wanted Iwen or Geene to be the strongest. Iwen because he could be hiding a transformation or something and Geene because of his superior posture. Now it seems like Beerus is taking on even the most important Universes' GoDs at once.

This Beerus wank needs to end >_>

From a narrative perspective it does make sense to have Beerus stronger than the other GoDs.

Uh, who else 'jumped on' me? I only see one poster who could possibly fit that.

The manga's already done better than the anime:
1) Vegeta vs Beerus.
2) Gods fighting each other.

I'm 100% that some of wasted the characters, especially those from U7, will be treated like they should instead of going down because they "dropped their guard".
That's much better than a one worded post. Though I do disagree with calling people deluded because they enjoy one piece of fiction over another.

What does Vegeta VS Beerus accomplish that puts it above the anime?

It dehypes the future arcs for me. We've seen Beerus for long enough, it would be a nice change of pace if we spent time with another GoD who'd be stronger than him.

But who's say that is the strongest? the real fight is about to start, wait the next chapter. Beerus is without any doubt one of the stronger (top 3 probably), but not necessarily the strongest.

Tthis doesn't show Beerus being the strongest God, just the most agile so far. Though, the context of the fight could bring a lot. Like, if as was suggested earlier this is the Gods unleashing anger upon Beerus for not stopping Goku; this could just be a clear case of anger stopping them from thinking straight and thus damaging their fighting skills whilst Beerus is calm as a cue cumber.

Well for VEGETA FANS, it puts Goku and Vegeta on an equal playing field.

Because they really care about that sort of thing.

He might not necessarily be that much stronger. Maybe just faster because of cat like reflexes? Who knows. It's possible they decided to jump a God of Destruction every time one appeared to test them to make sure they weren't slipping.

Maybe this will give us clarification on which God of Destruction is the one that beat Beerus in an army wrestling match.
How i predict the tournament will end:

I suppose you like how the protagonist Son Goku's treated, let's just hope he doesn't drop his guard tomorrow.
Vegeta hasn't been treated much better. Let's also not forget how bad Trunks was handled with all those power ups coming out of nowhere.
Kanassa wrote:What does Vegeta VS Beerus accomplish that puts it above the anime?
It shows someone other than Goku doing something major.
Totamo wrote:Well for VEGETA FANS, it puts Goku and Vegeta on an equal playing field.
Doesn't everyone want to see their favorite get treated right ? I know Piccolo and Gohan fans want that.

I expect it's based on more than just Vegeta being on par with Goku.

Not really caring much at all of what I'm seeing here so far but my opinion is likely to change when the full chapter is out.

I would say what is considered 'major' is very subjective in this case. I'd say plenty of other characters have been major in this tournament so far.

If Vegeta or anyone being able to put up a fight against Beerus and even getting a hit in isn't major then nothing is.

Goku's been doing 90% of everything since the arc started while everyone else have gotten crumbs here and there.

Doesn't look like Beerus gets beat up, he's mainly dodging the other GoDs, that's pretty lame.

Beerus being the strongest one makes perfect sense. Black started his rampage in Trunks timeline because Beerus was dead there after all.

The only thing I don't like so far it's that apparently Toyotaro has changed the meeting of the Hakaishin with them having that ceremonial like outfits. I loved that.

Do you expect him to beat all of them up ? being able to just dodge that many strong beings is a very high accomplishment. We've just gotten 3-4 panales so it might be more than that.
