Evidently, but I and probably a larger section of this forum, would appreciate it if you could let us in on your UBER-secret sources. I don't see how it's a big deal to let us know where you heard it from.

Now... who wants to bet that Grandpa Gohan is in fact the reincarnation of our lord? The proof is in the water-walking.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.
Kami = too edge-y for Hollywood, let alone America. Unfortunately.snaku wrote:Maybe they'll introduce the concept of Kami in the sequel, and Grandpa Gohan is Kami?JAPPO wrote:Now... who wants to bet that Grandpa Gohan is in fact the reincarnation of our lord? The proof is in the water-walking.
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
When I read JAPPO's post, that was exactly what I thought (and was about to post). Good thing I read on!MajinVejitaXV wrote:So...Piccolo is Ivan Ooze? ;pJAPPO wrote:Piccolo uses his blood to create demons (fu lums) in that chair.

They kind of have to if they're going to have Goku training in the afterlife (if the rumor of him dying at the beginning of the sequel are true), right?bkev wrote:Kami = too edge-y for Hollywood, let alone America. Ah, the "some guy" source. For some reason, that reminded me of this:JAPPO wrote:I heard it from a member on my forum.BrollysKin wrote:Evidently, but I and probably a larger section of this forum, would appreciate it if you could let us in on your UBER-secret sources. In any case, anyone can make up any number of things. Has this guy given any credible information before that wasn't posted elsewhere already?

Perhaps. I'm an idiot then. Sorry! Just sounded like a line they said when Piccolo told Gohan his dad was dead... guess I was wrong. CURSE YOU MEMORY!

Maybe because I didn't make a big deal out of it. I never said it was true. Jesus christ.MajinVejitaXV wrote:I guess any questions about credibility are going to go ignored. Oh well. Always a good sign![]()

I really don't have to prove my credibility, I've contributed way more to this thread than you have.

Wow, way to take it personally when it wasn't even about you. I asked if the guy who posted on your forum had credibility in the past.JAPPO wrote:Maybe because I didn't make a big deal out of it. I never said it was true. Jesus christ.

I forget the poster's name. It was just something I posted as a tidbit and if I found out more I would have informed you.MajinVejitaXV wrote:Wow, way to take it personally when it wasn't even about you. I don't speak any Asian language so I can't go look through hundreds of news sites looking for the exact line.
But you are free to do so. It's from the Bangkok conference, I think.
For the record I haven't slept in 24 hours so I will go do that.
