English Dragon Box Release

I just thought of something.

In the Japanese Dragonbox ads, Goku narrated them. In the US Dragonbox ad, Vegeta narrated it. In the next episode previews in Japan, Goku narrated them. What if Vegeta narrated them in the dub.

"Hey, freaks! Vegeta, the Prince of Saiyans, here! On the next episode of Dragonball Z, I beat the daylights out of that clown, Goku! How 'bout that?! Tune in next time, Earthlings, because the next episode will be OVER 9,000!!!"

I may hate the dub, but for some inexplicable reason, the idea of dub Vegeta narrating the Next Episode Previews on the dub track sounds incredibly amusing.

Vegeta narrating next episode previews (Japanese or English) would actually be pretty cool, but here's hoping that if they dub the previews they stick to Goku. Plus I'd rather not be called a freak every time. That's offensive. Earthlings can surpass you, Saiya-jin!

On the subject of Vegeta, the book art looks damn nice. FUNimation's really pulling out all the stops for this release, and it really shows. It's nice to see a new release of the series given a more positive light and actually have excitement around it compared to two years ago.

I'm trying to remember, but on the next episode previews that aired during the Toonami run, I think there was one that WAS narrated by Goku. It even started with something similar to,"Hey! My name's Goku..." I'm really stretching my memory here, but I think it was the preview for the episode that Kuririn and Gohan get armor before their big battle with Freeza.

Any one else very familiar with the dub remember? Or am I just crazy? Find out next time, Earthlings, on the next episode of DRAGON BALL Z....FREAKS!!!!

Yeah, they had Goku do a few of the Next Episode previews, but not all of them. He did almost all of the Cell Games Next Episode previews.
