If someone actually watched the show that way a smack in the head wouldn't be enough.LeprikanGT wrote:Not that I care either way about the NEPs but WITH them you technically would only have to watch every 3rd episode to get the list of a show.
Like if you watched a show on Monday you would get the last episode recap and the episode and the next day preview. Then watch on Thursday and you would see what happened on Wednesday AND friday.
But those aren't a big deal to me, I was buying these anyways, but nice to see theres a bunch of extras and that foil card thing [I assume with each one.]

ect5150 wrote:Yes! I'm not at home to give specifics, but the back of the bluray case has listed all the separate 'levels' and what episode counts will be in them. I remember thinking there would be roughly 17 or 18 sets like the one just released... which is inline with 291/17. But they apparently have the episodes listed for each one as well on the back. Someone might be able to post a shot of the back of the box - if not I may do it later.mikezilla2 wrote:...do we know roughly how many levels will come out ?
And with regards to posting some comparison audio... I might be able to, but it would be very small clips somewhere. I mentioned this before, but I can't tell a difference in any of the audios (and yes, I have good speakers, it's just that the recording is somewhat old and I'm not sitting down doing audio comparisons). Those would come later though. I'm going to have to start a separate thread for my comparisons I guess.
cool beans , yea in my head i estimated that there would be 18 levels yikes pricy so yea id love to swoop em up just not srue on how they would be collected - if i could some how sell my orange bricks for a decent amount( the value for them on this side of the world is still quite large) it would be some what okey
you sure its just the recording that's old
cheers for the image Yuugi , so can we get a number count ? that's not so easy to read

Alright. Kai does not look like crap. It looks very good. I will admit it is occasionally blurry in places, but overall, my blu-rays looks great!VegettoEX wrote:You could begin with an actual response to the post, for starters.DanielGClapp wrote:Oh lord, where do we begin?mikezilla2 wrote:KAI looks like crap though. Please don't just post up seemingly-back-handed quips. If you have something to say, actually say it. If you don't, don't.
Kai is not censored. It excludes filler and it it was edited for TV broadcast, but the home releases are uncut. As a matter of fact, there is a completely new (much better) English script, therefore, there is more cursing in Kai than the original series.
Saying something like "Kai is censored" is an ignorant statement that overwhelms the comments section on youtube.

Re: FUNimation to put DBZ on Blu-Ray
Are the credits fully correct now? The season sets had a ton of mis-credits. I could have sworn I once seen Kent Williams credited as Puar, Chris Sabat as Captain Ginyu, etc.
Re: FUNimation to put DBZ on Blu-Ray
Well, Kai did censor a few scenes that weren't acceptable on a 2009 Saturday morning block, such as the bloody hole blasted through Goku and Raditz with the Makankosappo, all the Kid Goku/Gohan penis and middle fingers.DanielGClapp wrote:Kai is not censored. I remember the double feature disc for movie 1 listed Chris Sabat as the Ox King, who has (AFAIK) always been voiced by Kyle Hebert from the time he joined Funimation.Codarik wrote:Are the credits fully correct now? Honestly, I think they just lost track of who Sabat was playing, he did so many roles.

Really, I don't know if I'll get these. If I do, I'll get the Buu Saga, and then a possible rerelease. I'll just watch my Kai sets sharpened in VLC, or my DBoxes.

Does anyone notice how on the back of the box it says "Revised English Dialouge"? Did they change any lines?

Tiny font used because off topic. Copy + Paste in notepad or something.nathantheguitarist wrote:I love CCCP! When I wanted to get rid of it, it completely fucked over my hard drive's Windows installation!ect5150 wrote:Otherwise, use CCCP to play it on the PC (I just had to stick that in there!).
It made it to where it can't boot, and I can't use it unless it's through a Linux live disc or if I just re-format it.
Apparently Marc knows something similar happening to someone else. So yeah, great thing that CCCP.
Speaking of Codec Packs. I redone my whole installation to use vanilla MPC-HC with these codecs, (based off this guide):
Haali Media Splitter
File Source (Async.)
LAV Splitter
CoreAVC
LAV Video
LAV Audio
madFlac
ReClock (for slowing down PAL material to 24fps)
ffdshow Raw Video
ffdshow Audio Processer
Is this good? Or do I need to add/remove anything?

Re: FUNimation to put DBZ on Blu-Ray
I can't imagine that, between my Dragon Boxes and Kai, I would have any need or great desire for this release. I'm still waiting for some solid video comparisons.

There's no way to really know this, is there (short of asking Funi)? It looks to be a generic insert. Hell... it's the only insert other than the advertisements (which I promptly trash). Nothing on the card suggests to me that it is strictly limited.mikezilla2 wrote:dos anyone think the signed paper that came in the first level and following levels will be limited print ?
