The shelves full of equipment make me think laboratory; while the chair makes me think "Piccolo's powering a giant mecha from inside it with his mind."

OR it makes me think of that strange device Vegeta tried to use to go ssj4. (Only with some parts missing).

Hmm... my thoughts? Interesting that he can't spawn them at will, but disappointing. I suppose the way to make that interesting would have been that he was too WEAK to until restoring his youth, then he could spit out the eggs. That would be kinda cool.

As freaky-interesting as the egg-spitting is in the series, I don't think I'm the only one who wouldn't want to see it in live-action. As far as just animal-like demon-spawn go, this route seems pretty cool and fitting. But it leads me to wonder if and how movieverse-Namekians actually reproduce.

Am I the only one who would love to see something that can be that gross without being lame grossout humour?

Hey, not that I'm going to start a petition to ban the movie becausr they changed it. I'm just glad they still have the concept.

Egg-spitting would look too cartoony in live-action, IMO.
Not that it'd be gross, but I don't think all the editing in the world would make me think Marsters was really spitting up an egg, and actually consume me in the scene. I'd probably roll my eyes.

Yeah, that's what I mean. It's not just that it'd look gross, but that it'd look... just too weird.

That is how Yoshis produce, so they would have to put it in there in some manner.

It'd definitely be hard to get the man to look like his jaw was unhinging to allow the passage of an egg. And Live Action Piccolo looks too human compared to the anime's....it would take a lot of work to get "right", I imagine.

In addition, I was looking at Piccolo Daimaô in that chair and his body armor reminds me of Super Shredder from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze film.

I applaud your sarcasm. If he does that, then the Saibamen's introduction appearance would seem unoriginal, if they appear in a sequel.

NOTE: Isn't "Cultivar" the name given to the Saibamen in the VIZ print of the manga?
