They're playing with the URL of the picture from the upcoming episode. That's how they get a pic of Future Trunks from #49 weeks before the episode airs.
The aspect ratio of the Future Gohan image doesn't match the ratio of any of the preview images on the site that I can find, at least -- hence why I'm somewhat skeptical.

If that the case, this better be a dream, hallucination or a flashback of some sorts from Future Trunks, because if Future Gohan was really brought back to life somehow, I'm going flip so many fucking tables.
It's the only way Gohan can do anything ever again: he must die so the other one can replace him :P
I wouldn't mind if they pulled a Joker from Arkham Knight kind of deal with Future Gohan. Future Gohan is never really there, but in Future Trunks' mind, he sees and hears him nearly all the time. Future Trunks in reality never really got over Future Gohan's death and now he projects an imaginary form of him to help occasionally deal with the immense survivor guilt that Future Trunks has to deal with. I'd find that quite tragically awesome.

Don't get me wrong, that's probably in the episode. I just don't think it'll maintain that level of quality.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

That took forever, but I just totally revamped the thread's first post. Added in all the planned alterations and made good use of the new WebM support. Hope it was worth it!

Why did they reanimating future Gohan with this shitty art style? That was one of the best scenes in dragon ball.

Decent looking episode. Nothing really offensive, but the flashback to Goku Black's rampage in the Future Trunks timeline was the highlight of the episode for me. I also found it quite funny that when they reanimated certain scenes for the Z anime they retconned in Future Trunks having blue hair.

They probably are going to ruin those scenes with the shity art they are using now.

THey are taking the scene from the history of trunks and not the series. Maybe they'll try to blend both in flashback?

Not the worst thing ever. Don't think Kitano had much of a role outside of the first half, honestly.

Much more interested in that preview. The leak was real then, so that's good to know. Definitely wasn't Yashima animating that part even though it's his episode. Much too on-model to be him. I wonder who's working with him since that's such an iconic scene.

I´m not an expert in how animation production works but, does this episode had more key animators than usual? (meaning they were almost falling behind schedule?)
Dragon Ball was always a kid series and fans should stop being in denial.

Could there be a new animator that shows up next week?

Most of these are new people if I am not mistaken. However yea when there are this many KA then it means they were trying to make sure it gets finished in time.

Updated with the image.

The number of key animators is actually pretty normal now that I've been told they're all new Studio Wanpack staff. Nothing to worry about -- well, no more than usual.

EDIT: Well this is interesting regarding next week. Check out Gohan before he powers up:

Very clearly Yashima, right?

Now check out the fully transformed frame:

And now overlaid:

It's a totally different artist's work. Either the preview is misleading and they're not related scenes, or Yashima was very heavily corrected.

Our 90% of animators that episode are all beginners, some are the first job yet.

Only in terms of key animation. They will have all been inbetweeners prior to their recent promotion to a key animator role. It's pretty normal, and I think they did okay considering!

I also liked the animation, but surprised me the amount of newbies.

Looks like Yashima would not be soloing next episode. Well makes sense considering the important scene they have to reanimate.
