Maybe this arc will see a true resurrection of Dragon Ball Z at it's most popular.

That's what RF was supposed to do and it alongside the Champa arc ended up under developed.

I don't seem pleased so far, have zero expectations for this arc.

There were a lot of high expectations for RF and the Champa arc alongside great theories on how they could lead into bigger and better things but they both fell short so it would be best for everyone to keep their expectations under control.

But at the same time Toriyama is revisiting a concept that made the android arc for many fans not only the best in the franchise but where they think it should've ended so it's going to be hard to not have high expectations.

I'm not quite sure how i would feel about Vegetto returning though.

One of the things that made Vegetto great was him being a one time only character so I'll be OK with him returning as long as it's just this one time so hopefully they don't make a new Potara that can defuse the 2 characters if they take them off.

I just pointed that out ten minutes ago and Ajay pointed it out before me even. For now I chalk it up as a visual Easter egg but who knows...crazy things could happen.

Someone from Dimps said they got Toriyama's approval for XV's story so maybe he liked it and is bringing Demigra into the picture.

You're not the only one to point it out in this thread. But you're right, it looks identical. Golden and with a green jewel.

The green earrings might be like a Makaioshin Potara. Like it's colour coded as yellow for Kaioshin, green for Makaioshin and blue for servants. We'll have to wait and hear Goku Black's backstory first, though.

I know barely anything about Demigra. They already introduced Jaco without any background...

Anyway, there so much to guess. Like were did this Goku came from in the first place. I pray we get a bit of post-apocalyptic scenarios, with Mirai Trunks and Mai fighting some minions. Mai doesn't have a shotgun to kill Black Goku, there's got be some lower level threats. Which is getting me pretty hyped.
Only Freeza offered some decent grunts for the weaker characters to defeat.

I don't understand this attitude. Toriyama's finally making good use of an old character and people flip out? It's also nice that female fans of this series have a character from the future to root for.

This arc could go horribly wrong or turn out to be surprisingly great I don't think there's a middle ground here. I'd be far more worried if Toriyama wasn't involved.
